A Life For A Life Ch.13 Quote

"Monty meanie! Mean to Earth." Dazzle tattle-taled, rocking on her haunches. "Bad words. Ugly, ugly words!"

Sun gave a loud and theatrical gasp as if he'd heard the worst thing in the world. He dragged Dazzle and FC close to give them both big hugs.

"Poor babies! Having to listen to such ugliness! Fortunately, I know just the cure!" He looked between the two children who were looking at him with wide-eyed, rapt attention. Sun gave them a conspiratorial grin and finally said, "Cookies!"

Lunar balked.

"W-wait! They just had ice cream! They'll spoil their lunch!"

I foreshadowed my own fic xD

So I was reading From What I've Tasted Of Desire because I don't remember anything about it and in the last chapter was a surprising, unexpected foreshadowing for A Life For A Life! :D

'“I will make you this deal here and now: I will give you the rest of my life, every moment I have left to me until I am decommissioned for good, if you give me the rest of your life in return.”

A life for a life.

“You will be ours-”

“As much as we will be yours?” They questioned lightly, the brightness in their crimson optics finally beginning to understand the meaning behind Sun’s odd “deal”.

The solar bot grinned and nodded.

A life for a life. A life of love and compassion and companionship. A life of happiness and equality for them both.

“We accept your deal, pretty star!”

“The rest of our life in your lovely, lovely hands.” They snickered for a moment before pulling Sun in close for a tender nuzzle, their forehead pressed against his own so that their optics were nearly flush.'
