"Darling...I've something to confess," Calm and soft, a contrast to Eddie's usual booming voice as his hands - gentle, much like his tone - moved along your body, searching. Appreciating. Cherishing.
"I've enjoyed our time together. Truly, I have," The laugh he exuded was breathy, usual lust overtaking him. "You've been...such a wonderful addition to my life, and...well, I just wanted to thank you," the kisses he pressed against your neck were light, his hands moving to grip your hips with possessiveness.
"You've put up with my anger, my deceit," he murmured against your neck, "The times I strung up those whores...you watched, didn't you?"
His voice took a different turn. Your instincts picked up on it instantly; the way it grew darker, the lilt decreasing. "And you...you viewed me like a tyrant, didn't you?"
Eddie's voice hardened, his haemorrhaged eyes stuck in a glare as he turned you around. He looked into your eyes with judgment. Disgust. A sign of bad times.
"You saw me as a monster...tried to convince yourself I'd change for you," his lip twitched, its urges to grow into a smile apparent. His hands were away from your hips, one reaching behind his back.
He knew what you were thinking. His free hand rammed itself into your throat, "A true wife would love her husband, flaws and all...did our vows mean nothing?" His tone took on a faux, remorseful one, almost as if this uncaring behemoth had feelings.
You were an idiot to stay here. To fall for his charms.
"No matter," he sighed, his fingers squeezing tighter, his pupils shrinking in delight at the sound of your chokes. "I'll just have to teach you...make you submit, make you learn-"
Your head slumped over, your neck floppy.
Pity. He had so much more to say. To do. Eddie simply sighed, tossing your corpse aside.
He'll string you up later. He has another wife to catch. He didn't even need to dirty his blade with your blood, you simply succumbed to his touch.
