Been working on a little fun rise x ofmd au and oh my god the chokehold it has on me-
I have so much prepped for it, a lot of the other characters designed and sketched out but I wanna wait till I have other projects done first before I throw myself into this. Just had to get the brain rot out first through a little doodle sheet and some beginning designs (may change lol)~
Got lil backstories and story plots set up as well, and the other boys and characters will be there and and ahhh its gonna be so fun :D
New characters! New brushes! New colour work! What a world!
These are some important cast members for my newest project Dry Season. The story is from Ibiri's point of view and follows this group of hunters as they stalk a mammoth, but several environmental changes and Ibiri's troubling dreams complicate their mission. Further introductions under the cut!
Ibiri: Ibiri is a fairly unseasoned hunter who was chosen to be part of the hunting party in ritual. He's not exactly the bravest guy out there and is a better forager than he is a hunter, but he's begun having dreams that seem to tie him to the mammoth they're stalking.
Sefa: Sefa is a young boy participating in a hunting party for the first time. He is eager to prove himself but timid and is often the target of Fiada's taunting. He and Ibiri strike a bond over the course of the hunt.
Kohosa: Kohosa is a fire dancer, which is what it says in the name. She performs in ritual dances with flame, and is under the tutelage of community elders to become a lorekeeper later in life. Ibiri turns to her with his dreams, and she in turn presents them to the elders as her own in order to get answers as to what consequences the hunt could have.
Vessi: Vessi is a powerful athlete amongst the gathering communities, known for his running speed and navigational abilities. He is considered decorated by his community, wearing talon earrings witch match those of his brother, and wears this honor with humility.
Faida: Vessi's brother and a popular hunter, Faida is an incredibly strong young man who enjoys targeting bigger game. He flaunts his strength and his credentials from past hunts, often by putting down those who don't have the same experience that he does.
Biren: Also a renowned hunter, Biren was elected to a hunting party like Ibiri years before and has since proven her ability. She is awkward and prefers to speak only when she needs to, which can make her somewhat standoffish, but she decides to take Sefa under her wing and enjoys putting Faida in his place.
I'm missing the hunt leader Khsrel and some other named characters, but they can come later lol. I'm excited about these guys!!! I can't wait to put them in situations!!!!
Closing out 2024 I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who has shown me support over the course of this past year. I went from being troubled over jewelry designs to sewing plushies in the blink of an eye. This year has brought me new creative work and ideas that were able to come alive thanks to your support.
Not only that, but I was able to work past my milestones too. Getting in over 100 orders this year as a special highlight. Looking back I can easily see where I can improve and for that I can’t wait to adjust myself for the new year.

i have plans (events in the works) that i cannot share with you right now bc the haters (my procrastination when confronted with high-pressure deadlines) will sabotage me.
I'm no artist and drew this with my finger, have mercy on me, it's been sitting in my drafts for a while and I've worked on it for over 2 weeks now to finish it and I'm finally done and this is pure agony, idfk how actual artists do this like every day 😭😭

I feel like I should clarify this again. I am not an artist, I do not know anatomy, color theory or how to draw skin. I've been told the colors are off and I am aware of that. I am already working on another piece and I hope to improve with time, but for now I can only say: this was my first big project ever. I've only messed around before. This project did not turn out how I wanted it to and that is more than just okay.
I'm posting this because I spent way too much time on it to NOT post it and I eventually want to look back in a few years and see the progress I've made.
If you have any advice or criticism, please don't be rude about it, I'm very sensitive about critique and generally have a hard time taking it, so I'd appreciate it if y'all could be nice about it anyways.
(also I sacrificed almost 7h active work time on this so please have mercy on me, I'll cry)

This was a toughie. I had a lot of spoilery hits for this, but this is really the safest snippet I can show off for now.

“Are youconcerned about Berserker?” She stands and touches a hand to thesword sheathed at her hip. “You needn’t worry. I shall standguard all night to ensure you are safe. I will know if anotherServant crosses the magic threshold.”
“That’s notit. I just wanted some fresh air. Is that a damn crime?”
“Of course not,Master.”
He goes quiet,the frustration dying in his throat before it can form properly. Pekojust stares at him. She seems content to stand in silence, but hewishes her eyes weren’t so goddamn intense.
“… Hey, Peko?”
“Yes, Master?”
