@black-diaspora I actually am still extremely traumatised from the bullying and abuse I experienced in middle school, and I still have physical scars from one of the ass whoopings I got!

And thanks, but I'm already in therapy. Thank God my abuse wasn't any worse growing up, because I may have needed more therapy.

I want FinnPoe to happen as much as the next Star Wars fan but I don't know want a situation where FinnPoe is used to further sideline Finn. I don't want it to be like, "So Finn and Poe are over here together but Rey is over here doing the actually important stuff".

It’s possible to portray what Finn and Poe are up to as equally important as whatever Rey is doing at that moment, it depends on whether JJ and the screenwriter cared to make the effort or not. This whole thing about the Force plot being THE story while everything else is an inconsequential little sidequest is an ST-era development in SW fandom and curiously only happened when the non-Force plots were diversified while the Force plot remains entirely white, funny how that works.
