I had a particularly hench rat once who didn't exactly do pull ups for exercise, but he did often reach up onto a shelf above him and casually pull himself up onto it with his front paws, like it was nothing. He was huge and solid muscle. He also made his cage mates miserable by beating the crap out of them all the time, so we had to get him neutered.
