Friend: how are you?
Me: Still alive... so that's progress
handled one of my piles! only 153 more to go!
Hello, may I ask how the progress for the sequel to the obsidian walls is going, you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, have a good day or night
i won't lie to you, my friend
i've rewritten the start to it 3 times over, had to scrap 25k words, and none of the character interactions are hitting the way I want them to. Safe to say, it's been a tough ride and this sequel is probably going to be the death of me!
I get the feeling it's going to be the kind of fic that I'm going to have to keep chiseling away at. She'll come out of this big ol' block eventually! ;u;
Somewhat similar to this, I also just find it really funny when someone on the internet so very confidently proclaims that no [woman/POC/queer person/trans person/take your pick really] actually thinks x, and anyone who says differently is just a clueless white dude, and then the comments are just a bunch of people who are very predictably offended to have just read that they don’t exist.
Or I mean, with serious political discussion it’s just rancid and a poison. But with, like, ‘is this character good representation’ discourse it’s very funny imo.
How is there tag drama when this literally our least problematic cast in over a decade?
