#gonna have to look up every time i said anything about breathing and rethink how to describe that #the thing with pulmonary tubes is that it's not body language?#like you can describe breathing to indicate an emotional state #and to break up dialogue #cant fucking do that with the TUBES #so thats #a little obstacle #cus i kinda need the body language breathing #maybe i just shape the breathing so that it could be tubes #like #that it serves the same function for me the writer but i describe it a little differently #but how #gonna have to think about that #bc it would be nice to give them the tubes for real this time #ive always gone the easy way and stuck with lungs bc #well bc of this reason #but i want to give them tubes #maybe i can make the tubes also make sounds but like slightly different #like i once wrote a story with a robot where the different fan noises could translate to different breathing noises so you as reader still #got the emotional meaning but the noises and when they happened where slightly different #would be cool if i could make the tubes sound gross maybe #grosser is always better #wetter also
