“We’re fucking going out, I’m not saying it again!” he said, half laughing. After the day, week, month Charlie had had, he was ready to go out and have a great time. He wasn’t going to worry about work, Ivory, paparazzi, his manager, or anything else that had been a gnat in his ear recently. He was going to have a damn good time. “Come on, I promise it’ll be fun. I know the perfect bar.. to start out at.” he said to the person next to him, raising his eyebrows excitedly. “Get your coat.”
“ okay, now, before you start laughing, yes i’m doing yoga, ” madeline began from where she stood on her yoga mat in the center of the room. she held one leg up by the calf as she extended the rest of her body forward to maintain her balance. she was actually pretty flexible thanks to years of dance classes -- she wasn’t perfect but the poses weren’t hurting her too badly. “ this one is called standing bow, and i’ll have you know that yoga is great for your sex life. ”
“Please, continue to tell me your problems, I promise I am listening with one-hundred percent interest.” The man stated with teasing sarcasm as he poured himself another glass of craft beer, lounged comfortably in the chair and flashing the person before him a little smile of equal sarcasm. He found it almost impossible to hide his amusement behind his mug.
"Sunday’s always feel so long, I swear it’s only been two hours since my day started but it feels like five. Sunday’s also make me feel incredibly lazy too. Watch me not go to the gym or walk my dog, because ‘it’s Sunday’. I’m not usually this lazy, I swear.”
“God, as if the people around here couldn’t get any more terrifying. Is bumming it twenty-four seven the new thing or am I just jogging around the wrong parts of town?”
“Oh! Pardon me, you wouldn’t happen to know if anyone is hiring in this neighborhood, would you?”
I went from having no pets to losing track of how many I have. How did this happen?? Am I going to just keep accumulating animals?
