okay so it's just a very vulgar and trashy kind of movie? lots of unnecessary, OTT sexual elements and gore, all handled in a really juvenile manner. As the reviews say, it's also pretty mean and hateful... the dog, the fat guy, and basically all the women didn't sit right with me at all. I'll emphasize that this shit is violent (with bad cg blood), the long torture sequence made me 😬 and I'm an avid horror watcher. there's sooooo many uncomfortable moments, for a wide variety of reasons (ouch, ew, unfunny, wtf).
(on top of that, it's super cliched as a hitman thriller!)
if you're okay with this kind of tone, it's still not a very good movie lol. the writing is bad, visuals and editing are cheap and ugly and the pacing is off, things don't pick up for a while (the ending is particularly weird imo). and the thing is.... Mads is like, from a completely different movie, Vanessa too. Their bits are totally bearable and don't have much of the aggravating ~edginess~ of the rest. His action scenes are fun, he's a badass. he plays things straight.
Mads and Vanessa don't have sex scenes if that's what you're asking, but he has two with other women much much younger than him (one of whom says "I said I wouldn't fuck anyone older than my father" beforehand, also her specialty is distracting her targets with blowjobs so her hitmen buddies can kill them) and they're kinda among the uncomfortable parts I mentioned... yeah.
It's such a weird experience overall. Weird and unpleasant. hard to believe Mads signed on (and produced?!) thinking it's "radical" or whatnot 🤷
