recently started learnin scottish gaelic. feels bloody good to remember the language i grew up speaking… it's euphoric, in a way.

either way, i miss roach. and price. and gaz. rudy, too. even graves, from before shit went downhill. man, i just miss my guys. i miss the task force and everyone i met during my service.

on a less upsetting note, i ain't got a single clue why the guys at base always questioned that i genuinely enjoyed getting called soap.

it was like a badge of honor. i was bloody perfect at room clearance despite being smaller and younger than most of the others.

i'll go by soap 'til i wear the fuckin' name out.
