In a world where no one can die permanently, Reaper has chosen to travel alone, for the sake of her own safety and survival. One night, she comes across two by the names of Wolf and Coder, outsiders who were displaced by the deaths others wrought upon them. But the enchanted weapons that killed them left an unnatural mark on Wolf, who bears an worrying number of scars from his death...and each burning with more than just phantom pain. Against her better judgement, and hoping to help them learn how to survive in an unfamiliar place, Reaper decides to help them find a cure, helping them journey through this world full of surprising allies, ruthless enemies, and mysterious magics.
Meanwhile, Doc, a potion master and outcast, strives to uncover the truth about the Children of Nothing, the cult who had cast him out when his curiosity into their true intentions got the better of him. Believing these intentions to be harmful, and seeking to save an old friend still in their ranks, Doc instills the help of his friend Zikon, a sergeant who shares a common enemy and goal. Together the two travel around the continent, and their journey reveals long lost secrets and rising powers that could shake Dridon to its core.
