A helicopter dropped dreidels and gelt coins down onto the meadow at Jeffrey Park, which hosted the City of Bexley’s Hanukkah Lighting for the first time ever. The event was one of several events organized by Chabad Columbus this week for Hanukkah. The City of Bexley’s official menorah is still at the southwest corner of Broad Street and Drexel Avenue, outside of the Columbus School for Girls.

The Bexley Festival of the Arts was held at Montrose Elementary School, where there was a crafts festival in the school gym, with vendors selling in the school cafeteria, as well. Just a few blocks west on Main Street, at Christ Lutheran Church, was the Annual Yuletide Arts and Crafts Show, as there were more artists and craftsmakers selling arts and crafts.
