For what human strength is able to achieve in history is nothing other than a process of making conscious the necessity of world history. We have recognized and - by proclaiming the text - attempted to rouse the proletarians to consciousness of this necessity. For we realized that, once this conscious awareness exists, that is, a correct perception of the true interests of the proletariat, there is nothing which can hold back the emergence of a new world order. But all those who believe they can hold back the course of world history by resorting to social democratic 'law and order' are deluding themselves. We will continue the propaganda work of our imprisoned leaders. And if we, too, are eliminated, others will take our place.

How many rights does it take? How many victims have to share their words? How many people have to die? How many children have to be put in cages? How many human rights violations do we have to see? How many journalists have to be arrested? How many to care? To do something? To get involved? To organize? To wake up and not look the other way? All cute owl illustrations aside, how many? That’s what I’ve been asking myself.

I’ve been questioning whether I should continue to make political art and if it is good for my business. Will clients not want to work with me? Will I kill my career sharing my convictions?

It’s been a continuous struggle to not only see my tax dollars working against us, killing innocent people, and just being straight up stolen from us. It’s been devastating to know people in my family who have voted for this and still justify what is going on. I know that this has been the case for marginalized people in our country for decades and I’ve been told this is how it has been forever. Why do we continue to enable it and sane wash it? Why do we ignore it? It doesn’t have to be this way.

I personally choose to support people, businesses, and organizations who stand up for what is right. I appreciate everyone who supports me and I know I am not alone.
