It was a hot one at the #socalshowdown and my head is feeling like it was battered by the sun all day! I'm not a fan of official practice being the same day as ranking round, that's a lot of time to be out in the heat. I usually just do the last couple of ends of practice before the break and then our ranking, and even then, my head is hurting from just the sun beating down on it all day. I'm really happy with how I shot, though, I feel like I'm going to keep improving and getting better. My equipment performed flawlessly, and I'm really loving shooting Griffin Vanes in the wind! Thanks @bohningarchery ! My mental program that I've developed thanks to @mental.management and all those classes I took this spring and summer has really been keeping my head in the game! I highly recommend taking their classes if you can, I keep getting something new every time I take a class. Looking forward to shooting ORs tomorrow, and hopefully no fires. Yes, there was a fire! And this little FlameGoddess of course went running to help, even if they guys in the cart beat me there, I was at least there for moral support and say "use the extinguisher." My legs and neck aren't happy with me doing all this traveling and such, but I don't let the pain stop me from doing what I love. Are you doing what you love? What's your excuse? Get out there, life is short! #archery @psebows @carbon.express @ramrodsarchery @blocktargets1 @erreasport @errea_usa (at Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center) https://www.instagram.com/p/CF3bA4YgE2K/?igshid=1bfwja9emjn6t
