Social Media Compliance

Compliance is different in every industry, which means, some are easier than others. The industries with the more difficult compliance rules are finance, insurance, pharmaceutical, health care, and government. Some of the rules that need to be followed are record keeping and supervision of employees. Employees who are a part of these companies and organizations must monitor what they post and be aware of their social media footprint. I’m sure the employees and employers have Googled themselves. Think before you post, ask yourself, “will I be embarrassed by this post, will this post embarrass others, and does this post comply with where I work.” We are all one button away from making a mistake.
