it's no surprise to anyone that ran didn't particularly like hanma. the taller boy's attitude and his stupid eccentric personality just rubbed him the wrong way. ( perhaps because ran had an attitude and personality of similar nature, which was what was truly ironic. ) either way, the two did not get along whatsoever, not when left to their own devices and left to chat. it often led to an altercation, which was the case in this situation. only, they hadn't quite reached the stage of getting up to get physical but ran could feel his annoyance burn with each word the stupid two-toned prick said.

ran knows exactly what hanma's intentions were, and he knows how unsexual they were. in fact, he knew they were probably nothing but violence. but, still, ran often enjoyed plucking at people's nerves. rindo was the one who enjoyed music, but ran was the one who knew how to play people's nerves like a guitar, and he was good at it as well. ❝ now be a good butler, or whatever it is you are here, and get me a drink, ❞ lifting the empty bottle in his hand, he grins, ❝ i've ran out of water. ❞

@sociieties: “ roselle…? ” moon calls softly, seemingly appearing from nowhere. by the time she spots him, moon sits comfortably with her cat, of whom he’d forgotten the name of, offering the animal a small piece of fish he’d brought with him. “ do you remember, ” he begins, gaze soon moving onto the woman, “ when you asked me to take away the magic from the people in your coven? ”

making themself aware or not, roselle knew whenever moon was close. it wasn't like the soft coolness that tickled her hot skin, unlike the warmth that spread to every crevice of her body when she was too cold under the moonlight. no, moon's presence was like a hit of pure power, it made the magic within her bones vibrate with an intensity that could easily make her vomit or unwell if she didn't know how to handle moon magic in the first place. instead, she feels a rush of energy as they appear, turning slightly from finishing up cleaning up after dinner to see the being feeding her cat. she greets him back with a hum of acknowledgement as she puts the dishes away. his question is heard fine and well, but she doesn't begin to answer it until she's strolling back into the same room as him.

❝ yes, ❞ roselle finally responds, tone void of any emotion, ❝ why? ❞ for them to appear and suddenly bring it up meant something she wasn't too sure she wanted to know. but either way, she, of course, had to hear what they had to say. moon was, after all, the very being who was responsible for the power she wielded.

It's the way that light trespasses the leaf mess at the entrance from a different angle that gives it away – he's slept through at least another couple of centuries. The faint smell of blood in the air is always the same – he'd laugh if fully conscious. Although upon second thought, it was a little stronger, so much he could taste the iron laying thick in the back of his tongue every time he inhaled more deeply – another war, it seemed. Nevertheless, the likelihood of a senseless human conflict had never woken Itachi before, no– Something   ( someone? )   had entendered his domain, and its celestial energy was substantial enough to have prodded him out of his slumber. Itachi wailed loudly, the waves reverberating throughout his entire body and ruffled every feather covering it, only exhaling then, finally peeking his beak and then his head outside. It was mildly colder than he'd have liked. Chirping at the sight of such a strange creature so close to his nest, the ancient Sannin crawled the rest of his figure out – unworried about whether he'd startle his company or not. He towered over the pale being, and for no reason other than curiosity, Itachi all but envelops himself around the stranger – aligning his face with theirs. “ — Are you astray... young man? ”  The raven asks, although his beak hasn't opened, and he takes a moment to inspect the other – it was no more a boy than he was, although it wasn't a beast either. Something felt familiar, yet he couldn't say what.  “ — Who... Are you? ”

it’s been hell for the past week.  they barely manage to escape him each time and zuko is relentless in his pursuit.  he wants aang by any means necessary and it’s completely exhausting.  while aang doesn’t appear to be all that bothered and sokka even more so, katara is left having to stress over the situation alone.  as usual.  boys were stupid, she figured that out years ago after her mom died and she practically had to baby her older brother.  but now she knows that boys just weren’t the same species as her.  it’s what she’s thinking as she storms away from their campsite, almost breathing fire from her mouth like some kind of fire bender.  she’s that mad!  aang and sokka weren’t too worried about zuko catching up and katara was trying to convince the boys they should move camp somewhere a little further, somewhere they could see if zuko was coming or not.  but she was met with the ‘ zuko won’t find us in all these trees. ’ and the ‘ katara you’re being too paranoid. ’  no she wasn’t!  she’s a good bit away from the camp now, trying to locate a stream the trio flew over when finding their current campsite on appa.  only, when she nears the stream she feels an incoming heat, like a blast of hot air that gets warmer and warmer -  until she turns and barely manages to dodge a fire blast.  zuko.  gritting her teeth together, the brunette quickly gets into a bending stance only to be brutally reminded that she wasn’t near any body of water.  it was still too far away.  but she keeps her stance held and narrows her eyes towards the male.  “ won’t you just please give up!? ”  it’s exclaimed with a large amount of fury, but hidden hints of plea.  “ being in this chase -  i’m sick of it zuko! ”
