Interview 1J: "Rather than pairing socks as they come out of the dryer, they are placed into the 'sock bag' (a blue IKEA) - and the children choose their socks themselves.  Sometimes they find a pair.  They do try to 'match' the two socks - size and colour.  I'm not sure it makes my life any easier - as they seem to spend ages searching, instead of getting dressed in the morning"

Bag Your Socks

One day we were walking down Market Road in Bandra and we found what we've been looking for everywhere! A plain white canvas bag. Plain white bags are so special, you can do ANYTHING with them to make them yours and yours alone.

Which is exactly what we did.

Make this quirky bag with all this:

A white bag, a pair of striped long socks, needle, thread and a pair of scissors.

Well, yes these socks did look this awesome...

But where do you wear those in Bombay, right?

This is how we made our stripey sock bag:

We placed the sock over the bag, in the shape of a shy little ballerina's legs. And then we sewed them on! Simple. :)

A bold bag like this would look best with a simple, muted dress.

But then again, you won't know till you really experiment!
