Went into craft fugue state and made a couple of drawstring bags. Gonna try to make a sewn lining for them. Wish me luck!

The thing about knitting stranded colourwork with super bulky yarn is that you need an enormous project bag. Fortunately Value Village had my back:
A cute and practical Barbie themed tote bag for your crochet materials! Groovy, retro, yarn heart, crochet hook, pink and red • Millions
hi Barbie! im Crochet Barbie 🧶
Since I was loom knitting and my hook mysteriously disappeared from my hand I decided to make a post about what I think are essential in my knitting bag.
1. The bag
This is my only actual knitting bag, the rest are large purses or tiny backpacks that I used in school. So long as it has at least one pocket for travel scissors it works for me.
2. Project
I plan my bags around the size project like most people but it’s super easy to carry a sweater when your bag is a messenger bag for textbooks and binders. This one is perfect for my medium loom and has a zipper pocket for my cutting tool and currently missing hook
3. Cutting tool
Not all places allow scissors so I have a small collection of other cutting tools like the round tool on my keychain in the picture. Clover makes it and they have a smaller one for thread and it’s my favorite thing. No one has ever looked twice at it.
4. Notebook and writing tool
Normally I wouldn’t worry about a notebook since I have my phone, but sometimes I need to jot something down and my phone isn’t readily available because of tiny hands. That’s also the reason why I have the crayons. They’re great for trading to get my phone back.
That’s all I have in my knitting bag for now. But since I have other projects planned I’m going to be packing those bags soon too.
These are still up in my shop if you have the cash to spare help a girl out and buy something please.
