neither of them have much family or friends to speak of anymore but theoretically...

james would have some concerns about the age gap at first but i think after watching christopher struggle with connecting to people his whole life he would just be glad he's happy. and i think he would like arcade when he got to know him. they're both idealists to a fault after all... he would probably tell him to get better at lying though. my god.

we don't know much about mrs. gannon but i can only assume her reaction would be something like: arcade honey you can do so much better...

as a self identified cool teen, bestie still means bff but we’re just using it more as like a way to say dude i think. but like it still means bff (i think it started because annoying people would unironically call their best friends “bestie” over and over and when people would make videos making fun of that we all latched on to it. or something)
