So I have a though in SOF, specifically on Smiley. Like, either Batman has confused Smiley to the Joker (which I know that the "Clown" Prince going to take offense) ie clown blindness, or he believes all clowns are evil. Tbh, want to lean on the first one cuz funny.
Plus, I have no doubt that Batman knows who is Smiley irl identity. Like which clown has been a victim of Batman, multiple times, especially when he is in this:
Like, at some point someone is going to spread the rumor that Batman is really into this specific clown, but doesn't know to express himself, like a elementary boy bullying another classmate cuz they got a crush on them.
When Smiley sued Batman, everyone was legit like what??? You can do that???? It was hard to serve him tho, Smiley had to get beaten up again just to serve him.
But I love the idea of Smiley having a brother that works for OSHA. What if Smiley and his brother were like twins or maybe triplets?
Smiley, the clown that has Murphy’s law as a meta power and what I call “my leg!” Syndrome. Somehow bc he’s related to his brother he never gets to the point of near death. I like to think Batman has major clown blindness with smiley is because smiley has natural green hair, not like anime green but like, there’s a green hue to it. But he wears wigs so how does Batman keep seeing his hair??? Is also asking Clown if it would be okay to hire Red Hood as a bodyguard for a while.
Wylie is his brother’s name. He’s very, VERY particular about safety, due to being raised with Smiley. Wylie has almost revolutionized safety when it comes to the quality of materials and how frequent they should be replaced. He doesn’t have a funny bone in his body, but is somehow the funniest sibling. He met his husband via Smiley and SOF.
The 3rd sibling is a sister. Still coming up with her name but I like to imagine she’s a lawyer that works with Wonder Woman. She’s furious for her brother, especially since he’s so nice. She’s very protective of her brothers and has the meta ability where she can see if someone is lying.
Also the idea of people shipping Batman and Smiley is so funny! Especially when joker finds out? Oh god smiley has a target on his back now because of all this. His time in the grievance meetings are always long but damn. He needs to vent. His wife nearly gave him a heart attack when she showed him the Batman x Smiley fanfics and fanart.
