Gotham SOF Society VS Gotham Fire Department
The SOF Society has very few enemies, due to being a private, secretive organization and because they are (for the most part) pascifistic in their protest practices.
However, they do have a enemy, and no its not just the Clown Prince of Crime.
It's the Gotham City Fire Department.
The beef between these two organizations almost transcends the beef between the GPD and the GFD, and it all started because of that Clown Prince of Crime.
He ruined one of the very few public clown events that SOF was able to have in Gotham, but the joker, of course, had to ruin it with his joker gas.
The fire department was called and they started to spray jokerfied people with water to get the toxin knocked away, even just by a little.
Well, after everything was said and done, there was still some people in clown makeup helping with clean up and treating some people. Well, one of the firefighters got freaked out that there were still clowns on the scene and began spraying them with water to mess up their makeup.
Clowns understand that their makeup will be ruined and that water is a common gag in clowning, however!! You don’t ruin a clowns look when they are not apart of a bit.
Clown makeup is durable, but can take some time to put on. So ruining their clown makeup for a (what they think) petty reason infuriated the SOF members of Gotham.
It started this weird tradition in Gotham where fire fighters spray anyone and everyone with clown makeup, and clowns throw pies at their trucks.
It’s so petty but they are each others enemies.
