Kiri's reaction to being kissed on each cheek by Naegi and Ikusaba?
she tries to keep her composure. she really does. kiri has always prided herself on her stoicism, even when her partners are being absolutely adorable. she’s always been the least flustered out of the three of them, no matter the situation, and she intends to keep up her streak.
naegi and ikusaba, on the other hand, are determined to see her break her composure.
they form their plan on a cold, rainy saturday. the three of them had stayed in for the day, wrapped up in sweaters and blankets next to the fireplace. kiri was absorbed in a book, her guard completely down - a rare opportunity that naegi and ikusaba couldn’t let go to waste. their eyes meet over kiri’s head, and with shared nods and grins, the detective’s fate is sealed.
at the same time, they both swoop in and plant a kiss on both of her cheeks. kiri actually freezes up, her eyes going wide before her face breaks out in the reddest shade naegi and ikusaba have ever seen. she drops her book in her lap and covers her cheeks with her hands, glaring at both her partners, embarrassed about being caught so off guard. naegi and ikusaba just laugh, wrapping her in a double hug.
(and kiri isn’t hardly as angry as she pretends to be.)
