I don’t even really KNOW Julian and Sofia that well but I love them now and I ship it
They were actually pretty cute if you read New X-Men: Academy X (the complete collection is in trade back on Amazon and other stores online!) ; before it crashed and burned HARD in KYOST... So this is kind of a happy little reunion...
NO SPOILERS: but as someone who is a HUGE Julian stan I will say.... this latest issue of XFactor made me EXTREMELY happy. Also, Leah went into detail today with a convo with someone on Twitter about a deleted panel that explains Julian and his current situation in regards to his hands that I loved.
Ehhh.... I as a rule don’t give writer’s credit for tweets. Either it’s in the story or it’s not; but you get no kudo points for “THINKING” about doing something (I should just call this the “JK rule”).
The Hellion scene WAS a nice touch, and I appreciated her remembering the “Beautiful” comment...but...honestly it’s just a nice bit of nostalgia and that’s kind of it. While it is a nice to have closure after their fight; it explored little with either character.

are they still doing the "no humans allowed" thing in X-Men? They could just have Sofia turn up with her New Warriors mech armor again and rejoin the team. Even if it got broke they know enough alien geniuses
Kind of…
David is still part of the X-Men despite being depowered (although he did get all his knowledge back via the Stepford Cuckoos).
But my attitude personally is-if David can voluntarily choose to still basically be an X-Men; I don’t really understand why Sofia can’t either…
No listen to me. Nothing will EVER compare to Julian/Laura for me, but everytime I see Sofia/Julian I get all these emotions and kind of want to cry. So like I'm glad it's over so I can have more Julian and Laura but I also miss those idiots a lot okay
