Tunisia: Two jihadists commit suicide during a police operation
Two suspected jihadists committed suicide on Thursday in Tunisia by firing explosive belts during a shootout with security forces, the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior said. The police had invested their lair, located in Jilma, about 250 km south of Tunis, in the center of the country, added the ministry. One of the two men killed was identified as Azzedine Alaoui, head of the "Jihad Brigade and Unity", said spokesman for the anti-terrorist judiciary Sofiene Sliti. Read the full article
