Angel would be lying if he said Lucifer didn't just take him completely by surprise. Laying down next to Lucifer, he's not sure what he's expecting.

No, that would also be a lie.

He's expecting Lucifer to want to sleep with him, take him up on the offer he'd so eagerly given him but instead Lucifer pats the spot next to him for Angel to lay down in and Angel follows the instructions despite how hesitant he is.

He curls up beside Lucifer, facing him, only for Lucifer to place his hand on his hip. He expects Lucifer to start touching him but instead all he does is use his grip on his hip to guide him to roll over.

"Wha-?" Comes the confused response but still, Angel obeys, and suddenly Lucifer's arms are around him but also there is the comforting feeling of wings suddenly wrapped around him that makes Angel's voice hitch with the wave of emotion that hits him.

He sinks into the other's embrace. The spider demon is heavily confused but also, he feels incredibly safe, too. Something about both arms and wings wrapped around him feels too good to deny.

"I.....This is all you wanted?" If he sounds like he's in disbelief, it's because he is, he can't quite help it. He'd been so sure, so seductive and cocky before now. Now? Now, he doesn't quite know how to act.
