• She remembers the smallest details about people without even trying. She’ll casually remember your favorite drink order, the name of your childhood pet, or a random story you told months ago, and bring it up so naturally that you’re left wondering how she even remembered in the first place.
• She isn’t very expressive with her affection, but she’s constantly showing she cares through her actions. she's the type to quietly hand you a jacket when you look like you're cold, save you the last piece of dessert, or make sure you get home safely and she never ever makes a big deal out of it.
• Mina loves comfortable silence and sees it as a sign of trust. She could spend hours sitting beside you while reading, watching a movie, or doing her own thing without feeling like she needs to fill every silence with words.
• She’s incredibly observant and often notices when you or anyone else is stressed or upset before anyone else. Rather than drawing attention to it, she'd gently check in on you in private or find a subtle way to make your day a little easier.
• Although she seems independent, she’s secretly very affectionate with people she’s close to. She’ll naturally gravitate toward them, sit beside them whenever possible, and unconsciously seek out their presence when she’s tired or having a rough day.
• One of Mina’s favorite ways to show she cares is by sharing things she enjoys. Whether it’s a song she thinks you’ll like, a picture of a cute cat she saw, or a recommendation for a movie, sending those things is her quiet way of saying she was thinking about you.
• Mina gets flustered whenever she receives genuine compliments. She’ll smile shyly, look away, laugh softly, and immediately try to change the subject because she never quite knows how to respond when all the attention is on her.
• Despite her gentle nature, Mina becomes surprisingly protective of the people she loves. She rarely gets angry, but if someone hurts a person she cares about, her calm demeanor turns into a quiet firmness that makes it very clear where she stands.
The Two Times Wilhemina Denied That She’s a Cuddler and The One Time She Admitted It
Wilhemina Venable x fem!reader

Your eyes fluttered open from the sunlight seeping through the curtain, groaning as you tried to turn to your side, hiding from the sun. However, limbs were entangled across your body. An arm was draped on your stomach, her legs intertwined against yours.
Instead of moving your whole body, you turned your head instead. Your lips brushed Wilhemina’s forehead; her face buried on your neck. The sun shines brightly giving the woman’s face beside you an ethereal glow. You leaned slightly aback to admire her features. Her lashes were fluttering and you wonder if she’s dreaming. Even though you know she’ll wake from the softest of touch, you take a risk. Slowly, you let your fingertip trace her perfect nose, down to her lips. Then you moved to trace her jaw until you were cupping her cheeks.
Your thumb was caressing the apple of her cheeks, and you smiled as she leaned towards your touch. So lost in adoring your girlfriend, you didn’t notice you had uttered “So beautiful” enough for her to wake up.
Wilhemina’s eyes were still closed when she murmured, “You know it’s rude to stare.”
You bit back a dopey grin, “Hmm. Your fault.”
An eyebrow raised in question.
“You’re too beautiful it’s impossible for me to take my eyes off you.”
Gaze never wavering from her face, you didn’t miss the pink flush on her cheeks.
Instead of quipping a sarcastic remark, she posessively tightened her hold on you and you finally let your body turn to the side, mirroring her position. Now you’re intertwined with one another like a double-helix strand.
“Mina,” you called, prompting her to open her eyes.
You waited as she did, her warm brown eyes looking like honey with the light caught on them.
“I thought you didn’t like snuggling.”
It takes her a minute to process what you had said before she realized the position you’re in. She looked down to your bodies linked up under the covers before detaching from you. You hear her scoff, and you bite your lip to prevent yourself from laughing.
“I don’t. That,” she waves her hand, “was just a subconscious action. I was asleep.”
She sat upright, stretching her body as her back allows. “Whatever you say, Mina.”
She only looked at you from her shoulders before standing up. “What do you like for breakfast?”
2.
The sun has set and you stopped strolling for a while to admire the pink and violet tinge of the sky. You wished Wilhemina was there with you, though you’re sure she will consider this as a ‘nonsensical waste of time’.
You were on your way home when you passed by yours and Mina's favorite bakery. Your eyes caught the purple macarons and the ube pandesal they hadn’t been selling for a while. You all but rushed to the store, making sure to buy plenty of the macarons for Mina and the pandesal for you. At first, you didn’t think that the redhead had a sweet tooth, but after months of living together you had always stockpiled sweets for her (and for yourself).
It was already dark when you arrived home and you weren’t sure if your girlfriend is home already, as she sometimes takes extra hours at work making sure everything is okay before she decides to go.
Checking your phone for any texts from her, she confirmed that she wouldn’t be home anytime soon. She was taking overtime at work for a week now, and you had been missing your Mina so much.
Feeling lazy to cook for dinner, you decided to just order some pizza and open a bottle of wine. You opened the television while waiting, choosing on random channels until you left it on Billie Dean Howard’s show you religiously watch every episode of.
As soon as your stomach growled, the doorbell dinged. You smiled politely at the delivery guy and gave the money and you were off to settle down at the couch once again.
After some slices of pizza and some unknown glasses of wine, you begin to feel drowsy but refuse to go upstairs and sleep to wait for Mina. Your head was bobbing up and down, and once you were unable to hold off sleep any longer you rested your head on the top of the couch and fell deep into slumber.
Wilhemina was so immersed in her work she had forgotten to track the time. Fortunately, she had finished, and she can’t wait to be beside you and relax. She smiled as she thought of you with your wide grin as you welcomed her home like you do every day, including the days she worked overtime. You refused to go to sleep without her and she had called you stubborn, but you were her stubborn.
The redhead had arrived and instead of your wide smile greeting her, she was met with your sleeping figure on the couch. Her eyes flickered from you to the glass of wine left unfinished at the table. How much had you drank?
She sighed as she locked the door quietly, quickly going to the kitchen to drink water and then decided to change her work clothes before cuddling sitting with you.
Once she had changed into her more comfortable clothes, she joined you on the couch. She draped an arm around you and carefully put your head on her shoulder, making sure you’re still comfy then she had covered both of you with her fuzzy blanket.
She tucked stray hairs that covered your face, then pressed a kiss on your forehead. She turned to see what was playing on the tv when she saw the replay of Billie’s show you were watching earlier. Wilhemina can’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy as she watches the medium, remembering how you had told her you may be having a little crush on the blonde because she and Mina looked alike. She couldn’t really see it, though.
You curled further into her and put your hand in her stomach. Wilhemina starts to feel sleepy as well when you stirred awake.
“Y/N?” she whispered.
“Hi, Mina. What time did you get home?”
“Around 10 PM, sweetheart.”
“Let’s go to bed?” you asked, tilting your head so you could look at your lover’s face. She looked down at you before nodding.
The both of you stand up, reaching for her hand as you lead the way upstairs.
Once settled down, you faced Wilhemina as she was lying on her side of the bed like she doesn’t want to be close to you.
“Mina,” your voice low, “don’t you wanna continue our cuddle session? I’m cold here,” you pout even though she can’t see your face.
She opened only one eye and reached for your hand to rest on top of her stomach. Your hand was cold against hers, and she gave it a squeeze before uttering “Good night, Y/N.”

This was the third time that Wilhemina had visited your childhood home but it is the first time she’d gone up to your old room. She curiously peeks at the pictures framed at the wall: there were of you when you were a child; the hanging graduation pictures from kindergarten to college (she thinks it’s cute); pictures of you and your friends and family.
She also noticed the pile of pillows in your bed. There were at least three medium sized stuffed animals, a bolster, and two pillows. She took a quick mental note to tease ask you later why you don’t have any extra pillow or stuffed animal in your shared bed. She wouldn’t mind if you would have one.
Your room feels very lived-in despite you not using it for a very long time now. She was about to leave when she saw a small picture of you and her on your study table. Wilhemina picked it up and examined it closely. It was a picture of both of you early in the relationship, this picture specifically was after a date.
She immediately put it back when she heard footsteps running up the stairs. The redhead opened the door to go back down only to find you outside.
“Hey babe. Whatcha doin’?”
You walked past Wilhemina, propping the pillows on your bed to the side to make space for both of you. You climbed up and patted down the spot next to you. She was still standing at the door, both her hands on top of her cane. She looks at you adoringly, her mind picturing the child you as you sat there on your bed.
She walked a few feet to sit next to you. “Why don’t you use extra pillows anymore?”
You shot her a confused look, “What do you mean?”
Wilhemina took the stuffed bear in her lap. She pets the fluffy cloth. “This. Why aren’t you using these anymore? I won’t mind you having one in our bed.”
“Oh,” you giggled. “Uh, I don’t need them anymore. I already have you.”
The woman stopped petting the stuffed bear and turned towards you. She found your eyes already at hers, a small and sweet smile plastered on your face. Wilhemina suddenly felt guilty.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart.”
Your smile turned to a frown. “For what?”
“For denying you of your cuddles,” she sighed, looking at the bear in her lap.
She sounded so regretful so you tried your best not to laugh. “Mina,” you bit your lip to prevent laughing, but couldn’t help it.
You end up letting out a snort and your girlfriend whipped her head up to look at you perplexed.
“I’m sorry, Mina, it’s just– you don’t deny me anything. Well if you count the orga–”
“Y/N.”
“Okay. Uh well, you don’t like snuggling or a lot of touching but when you’re asleep you’re a cuddler for better or for worse. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to find you holding me like you’re a koala.”
“And I don’t want to wake you up when you look so peaceful in your sleep so I just let you be. So no, you don’t deprive me of anything, Mina,” you continued as you took her hand in yours.
“Stop being so sappy.”
An idea popped into your head. “Let’s cuddle right now! This bed isn’t for two grown adults but it’ll do.”
Mina retracted her hand from yours and perched it atop of her other hand holding her cane. “We should head downstairs. They may be wondering where we are.”
Sighing in defeat, you followed her out until she stopped in her tracks and stated, “Let’s cuddle when we get home.”
Warning: angst with an happy ending + body issues just overall the usual stuff

Her stomach was soft, the skin there delicate like cream, and your fingers danced on it while she read her book sitting between your legs. She had noticed that molded against your front her back ached less, and it gave her a space to rest. You were nuzzling her neck peppering kisses on her skin, when your arms circles her and held her tighter before you started playing with her hair.
"Wilhemina ?"
"Mm?" She pressed her head back against your shoulder as she looked up.
"I wanna take you out ice skating tomorrow"
"...I don't see why you would want to do such a thing"
she gripped her book even tighter, and adjusted her glasses a little. "Sweetheart"
The term of endearment sounded almost like a mockery with her tone.
"It's a very lame thing to do"
Your fingertips found her bare sides underneath her nightshirt to bring her comfort. She relaxed a bit, but didn't let down the vicious grip she had on the pages. They shook slightly, reminding you that her hanger was always fear in disguise, or was it shame ?
It was a miracle how you'd ended up knowing her in that way, every sign, breath she took and even subtle glances was an opportunity for you to take a look into her mind.
"Hey.. baby it'll be a sweet moment to spend together on your day off."
"I do not want to go skating, we aren't in the north pole"
"I know but I think it could be a romantic date to go on together and then get home and have fun" you said while softly biting her neck and soothing it with kisses. She moved away from your embrace, starting to lay down facing the wall. "I'll kiss you on the ice darling"
You tried to rest your hand on her hip but she dogged it.
"Don't. I'm having enough of you"
Wilhemina wanted so badly to be kissed on ice, in the air, wherever your lips would find hers. Of course she would never say that, because on top of not being good enough for you, and incapable of skating normally she would rather die than admit how much she longs for your touch. And god knows how much you like to touch her skin, fingers never far from her, always ready to display tenderness and care on her body.
You tried to speak but she moved further away on the bed.
"Mina ..what's going on ?"
"You say that like it isn't obvious"
"Well it's not, I don't understand why you're so mad all of a sudden"
"You're such an obnoxious idiot y/n"
"Oh really ? Well then why do you put up with me huh ?
"I really don't know how, you're such a stupid whore"
"Then How come do you stay ?"
"I said I DON'T even know why"
"Well I do, You stay because I love you, and you love me, and despite how fucking exhausting your grumpiness is, I still love you more each minute of each day. So excuse le if I thought we could go out and have fun like a normal couple !"
"We're not a normal couple !"
"Why cause we're women ? Oh grow up now come on ! We've been over this already."
"No ! What are you blind ? What kind of normal couple is formed by a cripple like me ?!"
"So this is about your back ?"
"Obviously"
"I'll say this one last time you are not a cripple ! You have a disability yes. But it's time you realize that you've been the meanest person to yourself."
"If you did know why even suggest it ?"
"Because you seem to think that everything that somehow involves your body is an immediate failure. I've seen people skate with even less mobility range. And if you had asked I would have told you I came prepared."
She looked at you in confusion before her lips trembled and you placed your hand on her cheek.
"Yes, i looked it up it's accessible, and there's an option for you to use a skating cane or a chair. That way we can skate together without being at risk of hurting your back."
You felt a tear rolling on the pad of your thumb, and understood, wilhemina didn't want to get angry for no reason, she simply expected you to not care about her pain, or be angry at her for not being able to 'perform' like she was asked to as a kid, somehow having to compensate what was seen as a failure by excelling in every other domain.
It wasn't that she didn't want to go, but rather she worried it wouldn't go well, of course she made sure you would never know that. Her eyes held everything she tried to tell you as her words failed her. She opened and closed her mouth, trying to find something to say but couldn't form a coherent sentence.
"Baby ... I know...I know what you can't say out loud."
So then she cried quietly before she went into your arms and you held her tightly while playing with the soft hairs on her neck.
Your fingers tracing patterns on her skin in a sweet promise that you would always be the one to hold her and love her intently.
After a few minutes she was able to call down because of your soothing touch and sweet word. She took a deep breath her body trembling in tremors.
"Surely you're not going to want to do anything with me anymore now..."
"What do you mean ?"
"Well you wanted to do something nice with me and I snapped at you... I called you names...i said awful things to you... why would you still want to be nice to me."
"Because I know why you did that, and I trust you to make an effort and try to see that I won't hurt you, and we'll do stuff like that together"
She settled back on top of you, this time her front pressed against your pelvis, and her cheek resting on your chest, fingers lacing with yours.
Wilhelmina was like that sometimes, she couldn't contain the need to feel you anymore, you had started noticing it while you had been going together to the cinema once, there the lights had been off. And in the darkness she found your skin, her body pulled into you, the touch of her hair in your neck as she rested to enjoy the movie. Honestly you probably wouldn't even remember what fill it was, you spend your time teary eyed as she giggled on your shoulder and circled her arms between yours to snuggle.
You swore you saw her soul dance like a child who first gets gifted candy. You think somehow she felt less tense than any other time, even in your bed somehow she found the need to cover herself. You remembered when the movie ended both of you parted away and it somehow felt painful. The ride home had been calm yet she didn't have the strength to reach out for your skin, maybe afraid in the dim light you wouldn't allow her to, and she would feel rejection again. So you had done it, had placed a hand on her thigh, slowly tracing your fingers around the hem of her dress, a beautiful deep purple turtleneck that hugged her curves and hung mid-thigh.
You had bought it for her thinking she would never want to put it on but that evening when you were getting ready she climbed down the stairs in it. A little shyly at first before you told her she looked beautiful and you had made the right choice. 'about the dress ? the dress ?' she had asked 'yeah, that too'. , that too'.
And then there was that day during autumn, she had complained about not being able to go on walks because the wet leaves were slippery, and you had said it was disappointing because the trees harboured the color of her hair and celebrated her with hot chocolate and sweet pumpkins.
She hadn't said much then clearly upset that she was holding you from doing things again, had almost gave in and screw the risk but you had refused, her wellbeing mattering more than a stupid season. But you had waited. Had called the Citysoffice to tell them how their invigilence could cause grave things and they would get sued for it.
You found out the date of the day they would blow out the leaves and decided to take mina out on that day. She was reluctant at first and then she noticed the streets were clear. Wondered how you could have known, if this ,as even your doing. You said you'd pulled some small strings because nothing would ever be to big for her.
She wondered if this day would be like now. Because you looked at her with such care and devotion she figured you would keep her safe on both feet. And what ? A little skating couldn't hurt especially when you promised to keep her in you arms safely.
"I will go with you"
"You know I'm never going to let you get hurt, I simply thought we'd have a little f- wait... Really?"
"Yes, you're right it'll be fun."
Suddenly wilhemina found your arms against her body tightly hugging her and your lips peppering kisses all over her face whispering 'thank you thank you thank you' over and over again in between.
"Oh god it'll be so great ! I'll make you spin and dance ! And we can get those delicious pastries you like so much and I'll kiss you on the Ice, like we're the only ones there."
"I hope you will" Wilhelmina whispered after kissing your cheek and turning around to let sleep hold her finally. Of course she will never tell you how much she's always wanted to be kissed on the ice.
A/n: I'm so sorry for being so inactive I'm trying to find time to write I swear I just never do
Summary: just you and Wilhemina spending the day in bed cuddling.
Me and my girlfriend are cuddling in our bed while watching a really boring movie so I'm getting super sleepy and Wilhemina realizes it.
"Don't sleep, babe." She playfully says and kisses my cheek.
I laugh in response and adjust myself into her arms to get even more comfortable. She kisses my head and after a few moments of it I black out.
Opening my eyes, I realize the movie was long ago over but we're still laid in the same position. Turning to Wilhemina to face her, I can see she also slept, what makes me giggle lowly to not wake her up. Her hair is messy and her glasses are a little bent on her beautiful face, she's the prettiest like that.
Ceasing my impulses to caress her hair, I just keep laying there observing every little detail of the woman I love. It doesn't take long for her to start making little movements, signing she's about to wake up.
"I thought you told me not to sleep." I playfully giggle and tap the point of her nose.
Wilhemina sighs and softly smiles without opening her eyes yet and I tight our embrace even more.
"If I moved you'd have woken up." She adjusts her glasses before opening her beautiful brown eyes and facing me.
"Yeaah, I'm pretty sure that's the reason." I giggle again and she smiles while rolling her eyes.
"Silly girl." She holds me tight and out of nowhere spreads a big amount of kisses around my face, making me smile like an idiot. "I love you." She says with her face really close to mine, looking straight into my eyes.
"I love you too, my love." I know how much difficult it is for Wilhemina to express her feelings so these words mean even more than what they sound.
Since it's Sunday, it's not really necessary to break our beautiful moment and get out from bed. Wilhemina turns herself so her back is facing the mattress and I rest my head on her chest while one of my hands reaches hers. We intertwine our fingers and she keeps caressing my hand and my head until we both fall asleep again.

The moment you saw that jar of candy-coated violets in the shop window, you immediately thought of Mina; although to be honest, anything purple you saw made you think of her. But these violets were somehow different, they brought up images of how it would look like when sweet treats swirled around in her mouth, coating her tongue and throat as she savoured them. You stood there for a second, dry-mouthed as your mind wandered to the redhead who always took your breath away with her monochrome outfits, stern voice, and gentle touches.
The shopkeeper knocked on the shop window, startling you. Your face flushed when you spotted their raised brow. They were, without a doubt, silently judging the red-faced stranger that had been standing in front of the shop window for much longer than necessary. Giving them a weak smile, you kept your head down and entered the store, pushing down the embarrassment of being caught. The candies were much more important than what some shopkeeper thought, Mina was more important.
Your experience in the store wasn’t much smoother either and only served to embarrass you even further. The cashier stifled a laugh as you marched into the store and made a beeline for the candies with a determined look on your face, exchanging an amused look with the shopkeeper, who was watching you like you were the most interesting thing that had happened to them so far that day. Their supposedly silent judgment became audible when you almost tripped over your own feet when walking to the register, both letting out a short laugh and clearing their throats.
“For someone special?” The cashier asked as they bagged the item. You nodded silently, not trusting yourself to speak. Wilhelmina was definitely special.
With the small jar now tucked safely in your bag, you made your way home to your apartment. Plans had been made on the day before to have dinner at your place, and Mina had called earlier to say that she would be late, grumbling about a meeting and imbeciles. You had chuckled softly at that, loving the way her voice sounded when she cursed.
Now that the sun was setting, you only had an hour or so before Mina showed up at your door, no doubt dressed in her signature purple with a tired expression on her face. You hurried home, feet falling quickly into place as you took to the road you knew so well. You stayed in your work clothes as you began to prepare the food, the precious jar still safe at the bottom of your bag. Dinner was simple enough, roast chicken with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. It was a meal that you'd prepared many times before, mostly because it was the one sort of fancy meal that you were confident in.
The sound of Mina's cane outside your apartment door met your ears just as you finished setting the table, each utensil placed perfectly parallel to each other, just the way Mina liked. You hurriedly wiped your hands on your skirt as Mina knocked, the sound sharp and resonating. You opened the door, a smile immediately dancing across your face as your eyes met those of Mina's.
Stepping aside, you let Mina into your space. She handed you her handbag, which you took as you greeted her, gently depositing it on the end table where your own bag sat. Your gaze drifted to the small lump protruding from the canvas fabric, another smile found your mouth as your mind wandered to how Mina's face would light up when you presented the jar to her.
"You're in a good mood today." Mina's voice sounded from directly behind you, her hot breath tickling the tip of your ear. You squeaked in surprise and turned to face her, her hand grasped your right hip, fingers digging into the soft flesh.
"I guess I'm just happy to see you." You replied, grinning at her amused face. A light blush coated her cheeks as you looked up to meet her eyes, the smile never leaving your face. The two of you stayed there for a few seconds, enjoying the expression on each other's face and the comfortable silence. Mina's hand left your hip to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear, her fingers tracing along your jaw and lingering there. Your face was definitely redder than hers now, judging from the glint in her eyes as she continued to stare at you. Unable to take the rush of emotions under her gaze, you broke eye contact, face flushed, mumbling something about dinner. You didn't, however, miss the smirk on Mina's face when she won the staring contest.
Chuckling softly, Mina took your hand and led you to the perfectly set table. You pulled out the chair for her, making sure she was comfortable before heading over to the fridge, getting out a pitcher of iced water for yourself and wine for Mina. You carefully poured the wine into the waiting glass, Mina's tongue darting out to lick her lips as she eyed the red liquid, gently swirling the glass when you were done.
"How was your day Mina?" You began, taking your seat and filling your glass. "Better now" she replied, gracefully bringing up a forkful of chicken to her lips. You hummed in agreement, eyes once again flickering to your bag. Mina watched you, she knew you were definitely up to something. Usually, you would not be able to take your eyes off her, given that the two of you did not spend that much time together. You’d been together for almost a year now, but because of the long hours of your respective jobs, occasional weekday dinners and weekends were the only time the both of you could devote to each other. Luckily for Wilhemina, it was a Friday, meaning that she had two whole days to pry whatever it was that you were hiding out of you.
A smirk tugged at her lips as she thought of the ways she could get you to confess, the methods she could use to get the words to spill out of your pretty little mouth, needless to say, a lot of it involved situations that left her feeling that oh so familiar tingle. You continued eating your dinner, unaware that Mina was eyeing you like a predator to prey. It was only when you were reaching for your glass that you noticed Mina’s plate was a lot fuller than your own. “Is everything okay? Is there something wrong with the food?” You asked, noting Mina’s slightly flushed face. The food tasted fine to you, but then again, you had made and eaten this meal many times before, maybe it was too salty or bland for Mina’s liking. Or maybe her back was hurting, or maybe her day was worse than she had let on.
Wilhelmina snapped out of her fantasies at the sound of your voice, blinking at your worried eyes. “No, sweetheart. I was thinking of something else, that’s all.”. She took a bite of the potatoes, they were slightly warm, coating her tongue as she swallowed.
“Oh, okay. What were you thinking about?”
“Nothing in particular.” She evaded your question, knowing that if she had asked right at that moment, you would have confessed immediately, but if she waited until she got you to the bedroom, your surprising bratty side would show if she played her cards right. Then, oh then, she’d have a fun night ahead of her.
“Mina, is everything really alright?” Your voice was softer this time, you’d watched her more closely after what had happened, and Mina’s fork had stopped at the side of her plate again.
“Everything is fine sweetheart, don’t worry about it.” Wilhelmina kept her tone even, not wanting to spoil her plans for tonight. She would have snapped at you to drop it in the past, when the two of you were unfamiliar and both had walls up. She would never admit it out loud, but you made her want to take them down, just so that she could be closer to you. Even then, your constant smiles directed at her and the way your face would scrunch up trying not to laugh whenever she cursed sent her metaphorical walls crumbling bit by bit.
You were planning to wait until after dinner to present the little jar of candies to Mina, almost as if the candies would be dessert, but seeing her like this made your heart break a little. She was being distant, or at least that was what her efforts to keep her plans for later tonight secret seemed like to you. The two of you had taken your relationship slow, mainly because the two of you were afraid to get hurt or even worse, hurt each other. Thus it was understandable that you had misread her, even if you didn't know it yet.
"Well, I have something that might cheer you up," you declared, deciding that if your little gift was going to make Mina feel better, you were going to give it to her as soon as possible. You walked over to your bag, gently cradling the jar in your arms as you headed back towards the table. "I know it's not your birthday or anything, but I got you a present." You slowly placed the jar on the table in front of Mina, just as her eyes widened in surprise.
If her walls were crumbling before, they were definitely completely reduced to dust now.
Wilhemina stared at the jar in front of her, breath hitching as she noticed how the sugar coating each purple petal shined as they reflected the light; they reminded her of how your eyes twinkled whenever you looked at her. This was the first gift you'd given her in the course of your relationship, with your birthdays coincidentally falling in the same month.
She looked up at you, you had been watching her expression, but quickly looked away when her eyes met yours, looking at the kitchen wall like it was suddenly the most interesting thing in the world. You were naturally a shy person, even more so in situations like this, when you didn't know how the other person would react. "Thank you, sweetheart, they look absolutely divine" Mina breathed, smiling softly.
You met her eyes at the sound of Mina's words, noticing the smile on her lips as a similar one tugged at your lips and your heart swelled at the sight. "You're welcome Mina.".
The rest of the dinner went on as they normally did, except for Mina's more frequent and softer glances at you and the jar in front of her. Once both of your plates were empty, you did the dishes while Mina remained at the table, watching your back as you hummed a somewhat familiar tune and made sure that every single piece of cutlery was clean.
Both of you spent the next three days together, lazing around the apartment as the jar slowly emptied, the sweet taste lingering on both of your lips.
Epilogue:
When you stopped by Mina's workplace to drop off a forgotten file (you'd convinced her to stay in bed for five more minutes after a particularly intense night, which resulted in the uncharacteristic forgetfulness), you noticed the empty jar sitting on her desk, next to the crystal ball. You fell even deeper in love with Wilhemina Venable.
Her fingertips ghosted over her skin, her touch barely there. She captured Mina’s cheek with her hand, pressing a soft kiss just under her earlobe. „You are everything to me, the sun, the moon and the stars. Whenever I look at you I feel like you saved me from drowning, your embrace being the only anchor keeping me above water. Where you end I begin, we are one. Your touch is like the sun, keeping me warm when I feel like I am turning to ice. Whenever I am with you I feel myself being captured by your love, your embrace.“, she pressed a kiss to her forehead, her fingertips traveling over her skin, leaving a burning sensation wherever they touch. „When your tender gaze meets mine I feel like I am about to combust from your love pouring into me. I can see everything in your eyes, they are my one true home. Being with you, I realized that I have never loved anyone before I met you.“ Cordelia cradled Mina’s face softly in her hands „Your love, to me, is like a Vulcano. It had been waiting patiently for it’s time, finally exploding. I can feel it all over me, with every fiber of my being. It awoke me back to life, gave me a reason to hold on to, to be the best I can be. For you. For you I’d to anything. I would give you the world, for you have saved mine.“ Her lips gently met hers, trying to convey everything she was feeling with her tender touch. „When I feel scared, you make me feel brave because I know you would always protect me. When all the light around me fades, you are like the moon and the stars guiding me out of darkness.“ She put her arms around Mina, her lips softly meeting her earlobe, planting a gentle kiss while one of her hands moved to the back of her head, massaging her skull. „I know the world has been cruel to you, tried to break you and made you feel like you were not good enough. Darling, I love you, with all my heart. It would stop beating if you were to leave, you’re the blood pumping through my veins. Let me love you forever and I will never let anyone hurt you again. I will be here, standing my ground right beside you, holding your hand, chasing away the demons clawing to your skin.

Summary: just a fluffy of you and your girlfriend having a cozy day cuddling and playing games.
Spotting my girlfriend lying on our bed I climb on it to cuddle with her. Wilhemina’s hair is all loosen over the pillow, she’s wearing a no-sleeve nightgown and her purple IPad is on her hands.
I hug her and she kisses my head right away but rapidly turns her attention back to the large screen, making me frown from the lack of attention.
“What are you doing there?” I put my hand in front of the screen because I know it annoys her.
“Stop it, babe, it’s just a game I downloaded yesterday, I’m addicted.” She adjusts her glasses and rolls her eyes in a playfully way. I approach the screen to see what’s the exquisite thing that has Wilhemina attention but it’s only a normal game.
“You’re playing candy crush? No way! I certainly lived to see Ms. Venable playing candy crush.” I make a surprised face just to annoy her a bit more and then laugh.
“C’mon babe it’s not a big deal and you know that I don’t like when you call me that, not anymore.”
“You surely didn’t complain about it last night.” I smirk at her and she rolls her eyes again.
"Stop being a brat and come play with me your little fool." Wilhemina kisses my forehead and I turn to her to seal our lips together.
Adjusting myself on her chest and hugging the redhead again, I observe what she’s doing on the screen.
“I can’t believe you’re already on level 122. Didn’t you download it yesterday?”
“I told you, it’s addicting.”
“Not as addicting as you, my love” I giggle in response and adjust myself on her chest so we can play together.
We spend the whole rest of the afternoon playing, I used to like this game so it isn’t necessary for her to explain me the rules, which I think made her a little disappointed, because Wilhemina loves rules, but she rapidly gets over it as we both get emerged on the match.
We only realize it’s dinner time when our stomachs start growling, by that hour we’re already on level 150 and our eyes are really tired.
“My eyes hurt, I think I need some glasses.” I say while getting up from bed and wearing my flip flops.
“I told you that weeks ago and you didn’t pay me attention, you’ve been complaining about it since then.” Mina says on that ‘I warned you’ tone of hers and I roll my eyes, she’s so sweet worrying about me.
The dinner goes on normally and we talk about everything and nothing, just enjoying our time together, not remembering about work or anything that can be stressful. After we finish, Wilhemina cleans the table and I wash the dishes, leaving everything clean to use in the morning at breakfast.
We prepare ourselves to bed and after laying I get my cellphone to answer some messages before sleeping but Wilhemina rapidly takes it from my hands and hugs me before I can complain.
“No more screens today, just you and me, my love.” I just hum in response to her warm embrace and she kisses my forehead. I can feel her skin and the silky purple pajama against my skin while we enjoy our rest of the night until falling asleep.
