I identify heavily with the trope of soft creature tortured soul.. who could’ve guessed I’d make another white puppy, version 1827q83
I feel reluctant to lean into designs I love and that speak to me because I’m self conscious it will be assumed I am attempting to copy. The truth is, it’s really easy for nuance to get confusing/lost and hard to explain to a very large group of people when you’re being ostracized for something that most likely wasn’t intentional. But I still want to acknowledge it, give credit where it’s due and move on. It’s discouraging when anything you might make next can be seen as ammunition, but it made me reflect deeply going through the anticipation and worry.
