Things I Have Learned Since Joining the K-Pop World:

1. I literally have no idea what is being said, but I get SO HYPE for the music. It’s a different feeling than when I listen to J-Rock or Japanese music (I’m very slow to branching into new kinds of music and have never went past Japan when it comes to international music).

2. I have a bias, who is most likely my ultimate bias (but I haven’t expanded yet from Stray Kids, so that could change). My interest in deep-voiced singers is still strong. Thanks, Felix.

3. I am a soft stan for sure. These guys are adorable and I just want all the serotonin they give me when they laugh. Let me hug them all, please, and encourage them to keep being awesome. Oh, and to have fun.

4. To learn a dance from one of the songs would be INCREDIBLE, but ya girl can barely get her lower half to follow her upper half, so... that’s unlikely. But it may happen. Idk.

5. There is a lot of smut about real people within this genre of inspiration. A lot. And I’m super uncomfy with it, so I avoid it. Kinda weird, but I am also married, so even weirder if I did look for it. It also feels weird cuz I’m pretty sure everyone in Stray Kids is 10 years younger than I am and it’s just... strange. I’m gonna quit rambling about this now...

6. I have never needed to watch a selection of music videos so much in my entire life. Never. That’s how hyped I get just to see them dance and perform.

7. Somehow, every song I listen to gets stuck in my head easier than ANY genre and I think it’s because it’s all so dang catchy. I heard a song once and then something triggered the melody in my head. That was it. It wouldn’t leave my mind. Not that I’m complaining.

8. My husband finds me weirder than ever before and I keep apologizing because it isn’t often I lose my friggin’ mind over a musical group. I have reverted to my old middle school/high school ways.

Now I’m off to bed with my mind on shuffle for three songs that I’ve watched at least 10 times each. G’night.

I think because when we are high we are experiencing emotions and thoughts at a higher perception level. Like spiritual level stuff. So, I believe, that all your emotions for Yoongi just pour over which is totally fine and normal dear anon.
