Sort of?? But also she's a work in progress and I change her a lot. I still like the name Fadeback and my current plan is for her to be able to make people fall asleep with bell chimes (hidden in her sleeves). I was thinking about incorporating some hypnosis stuff instead but I feel like I'm the Hypno Kink Person and I don't really want my stand to be kink stuff. I just think the concepts around hypnosis are cool. Thank u for my TED talk

Just today I realized that Kira's canon favorite movie, The Remains of the Day, have characters in them with names such as "Lord Darlington" and "Miss Kenton." I wonder if that's where Maijo got ideas for the names of the Motorize family... Not entirely likely, but still interesting.

Whether or not Maijo intended to put a link to Kira here, he had to have intentionally given everyone from the Motorize household a name based on the characters from The Remains of the Day:

Steven - Mr. Stevens

Kenton - Miss Kenton

Darlington - Lord Darlington

Ben (their father) - Mr. Benn

Harriet (their mother) - ? Harry Smith ?

William Cardinal - William (Stevens) + (Reginald or David) Cardinal

Faraday - Mr. Farraday

It’s not the only time he does something like this, either, as the dolphin trio is named after Enzo, Jacques and Johana from the actual movie Le Grand Bleu.

Do you have any advice on raising Skrelp??? A relative of mine, a competitive battler specializing in Dragon Types, gave me an egg from his Dragalge. He's going to help me raise it, but I'd like to do some research of my own so I'm well prepared! I've very excited!

Hi there! Well, Skrelp needs to be hatched underwater, and they won't be able to leave water for 2-3 weeks, so I advise you to get an aquarium and a water-type egg hatcher

As for diet, their main food source is rotten kelp (it helps them develop their toxin), so you should put some kelp on the aquarium, it also helps mimick their natural habitat.

They are omnivores, actually, so make sure to feed your Skrelp some fish-like Pokemon, and Skrelp can have little a bug type, as a treat

They grow slowly, and tend to stay hidden most of the day, but they are intelligent, and can fare well on their own

I advise you (if you can) to get a Dhelmise, they get along very well, and can safely provide food to your Skrelp

Not an opinion, just a headcanon I want to share; Hau's raichu is named Custard. Yes this name was malasada inspired. All his Pokemon's names are malasada inspired.

what about instead of just malsadas, hau names all his pokemon after food.... it’s ridiculous
