Terence Rigby

Another Z Cars (pronounced Zed Cars, by the way)/Softly Softly alumnus was Terence Rigby. Another handsome man, especially with a bit of facial hair. Another brilliant actor.

Sometimes wore a little too much hair on the top of his head for my taste.

Love those half-moon glasses.

He was a man born to play Victorian characters, which he did regularly.

Terrence Hardiman's first screen role post-Royal Shakespeare Company was in 1971, as Inspector Armstrong in BBC 1's Softly Softly: Task Force.
