              ❝ ...it’s just stage-fright. ❞ truth be told, he was just as nervous as she was. new year’s dances were considered to be grandiose spectacles for the jyuunishi and took months to perfect, especially when taking into account schedules, rehearsal, and practice until near perfection. outfitting took close to the same amount of time what with each outfit being uniquely made given the twelve year cycle and how quickly the younger members changed with age. 

                 everything had been finalized for the evening: outfits, routine, accompaniment, and now— the performance itself. they were a few minutes behind, at least with comforting the growing fears in the younger of the two. ❝ ...i’m scared too, but we practiced really hard for this... once it over, we’re off the hook for another twelve years and can eat all the sweets we want before the night is over. how does that sound ? ❞

“KISA--”  A delighted squeak left the Honda’s lips as arms reached forward to pull the girl into a tight hug.   “I’m so happy to see you,  what brings you here today?  Are you just visiting?”

            “ --- Ah -- there you are, is everything okay at home?”                                 It wasn’t like for Kisa to be running about by herself -- unless she was RUNNING for something which wasn’t likely. Honda-san gladly closed the gap between the other and her mother a long while ago. So he had hoped there was no drama accumulating from the house hold again, as he hadn’t really any idea’s how to cope with that again.  Brows raised while thumbs rose from the buttons on the game controller. Pressing pause before hand to not lose the current fight --- games could be SO distracting and finally glancing at the time, that was a given.  / @softlytiger

“Kisa. I’m sorry, but Miss Honda isn’t home from work yet. I’m afraid she’ll be working late today.”

He’s TOUCHED, turning from his work to face the small girl, hand held ( rather dramatically ) over his heart. “Thank you Satchan! Now ojisan can work twice as hard!” Shigure accepted the cup with a bright smile and placed a hand atop the small tiger’s head.

           ❝ y’know-- i’m not doing this to be mean. i’m doing this because i’m cold and i have to head home now. ❞ spending time at sensei’s house was always a pleasure and, more often than not, put his mind at ease. those moments of emotional and mental release were just what he needed. now, if only it wasn’t limited to a few hours when he could spare them. in addition, getting back to the main house took just about as much mental strength now as it did before to actually remember the route ( even though he’d walked it close to a million times ) .  ❝ could i please have my coat back ? ❞

Hiro can’t help but be SURPRISED when Kisa reached for his hand. She hadn’t told him where they were going, only where to meet up. He was about to ask her where they were going to go before she took his hand. Now a BLUSH crept on his cheeks, leaving him silent and shy. He still wasn’t really used to being affectionate with Kisa despite the fact that they held hands a lot when they were younger. It felt somewhat different now that they were getting older. He could feel his heart racing in his chest and he became SHYER with her than he once was. “W-Where are we going, Kisa?” He finally managed to ask, but he didn’t let go of her hand. Only picked up his pace a bit so he could walk BESIDE her. // guide take them by the hand, arm, or shoulder to guide them.
