the man had only been over their family friends’ house twice, but he’d already taken a liking to their family’s eldest -- who was, of course, just around or probably a bit over his age. the two would spend time together in ways he never thought would be possible. ash was the type to just handle things once, and it was over -- he didn’t keep anybody around, not even as a friend. it was too hard to tell who would really be there and who would fuck him over, so it was better to be alone.

there was a certain trait that he’d liked about the other, though: their innocence. whenever he’d say something that was only remotely rude, he’d instantly get a rise out of them. it was pretty hot, if he was going to be honest. for some reason, he wanted to push their buttons even more that day. when he visits them in their room, he couldn’t help but check them up and down and say, “well, aren’t you looking twice as gorgeous today, darling?”
