It’s been awhile since I dropped a #wellnesswednesday post. I’ve been too busy delighting in life off my phone and I’m pretty committed to not posting unless it’s from a genuine place of inspiration. But today I’m feeling inspired so heyyyyyyy 🙌🙌 . . And given Wellness Wednesday is generally always about my own work in progress journey, today’s theme is, yep you guessed it DELIGHT ✨ . . Delight is a word that has come up for me a lot these days. Every morning I ask my inner voice what intention I want to explore and what often comes up is delighting in the moments. Delighting in the messiness, delighting in the joyfulness, delighting in the stuff I love and delighting especially in the stuff I don’t love. Really just finding deliciousness in being alive. . . I think so often I’ve lived my life where I can’t wait to get something done and over with so I can check it off the list, or get to something that I love so that I can then delight in that, rather than delight being an internal state that I apply to ALL I do!! It’s RIDICULOUS how much more fun and delicious life gets from this perspective!! Trust me 😉 Also fair warning...this is a habit I’m working on and I fail often and forget and then bust myself and shake my head. But hey, that’s what self-awareness is for, I just keep getting back on the horse! #giddyup . . . Speaking of #delight ... I took this photo after waking up in the back of my new Campervan in a dreamy little spot in the interior of BC. I was post #soulfulentrepreneur retreat lead by the incredible @bree_melanson and @jacqueline.d.jennings where I nurtured my soul in very deep ways, got to meet so many beautiful babes, and work with magical horses. I mean come on?!?! 🙌✨🐴 And as I lay in the bed, door swung open for at least an hour, I deep dish delighted in the view of the river, the fullness in my heart and the magic that is my life. #seriously #sofuckinggrateful . .
