I’m,, so happy with these!! I feel like they look really good all together after working on them individually for about… 16 hours in total. Good lord. I’ll hopefully post more about Shadows in the future as the comic progresses but as of right now nothing about them is spoilery. Just kinda worldbuilding stuff.

It’s late but I’m posting about Shadows again :] lemme yap a little bit under the cut <3

Idk if you could tell quite yet, but I’m basing the Shadows on Zelda Bosses (i.e. Dark Link, Koloktos, Morpheel, Helmaroc King, etc) because I think it’s neat! Also I figured I’d post Helm’s design because 1) He’s one of my few official Shadow designs excluding Link and 2) because he’s gonna show up in the side comic I’m making for SOH. Helm is kind of a special case, he’s pretty bulky because he has a lot more variety in his diet than other Shadows do. Unlike the others who can only eat meat, he can eat fruits and veggies and sometimes bones. He’s also remarkably good with kids considering how big he is. Also he’s based on a hornbill!! Because they’re so so pretty you guys!!
