(I thought of this while kinda thinking about a trend with TV girl that died a bit ago- *no I am not a personal fan of TV girl but I listen to it sometimes.*
The plot is pretty much the same, Thomas is a son of Apollo and helps them fight for the right to have their own cabin, but as you can see a lot of the details are gonna change from the first version of this au, if any of you remember it.

The eagle owl perfumer/bootlegger. He’s a good boy, a sad boy, can no longer fly.
Penhaligon the eagle owl had an idyllic life before everything went summarily arse-over-tit. Pen inherited the family business upon the death of his father, because England was built on nepotism, and ran a successful luxury perfumery in central London. He and his fiancé were setting their nest up, ready to have some eggs together; he had money, friends, enjoyed long night time flights with his bird pals, all that jazz. For his up-coming 34th birthday his mum heard of the insanity in America called prohibition, so she decided to throw him themed shindig.
Pen made some authentic bathtub gin for his friends and family on his birthday party; as a maker of bespoke perfume he had access to a lot of alcohol already. Such was the authenticity of this concoction that his entire party died, poisoned, leaving him the survivor, and the cause mass manslaughter...on his birthday. He fled, hopped on the next train to Liverpool, the next boat to America, and tried to forget, start a new life.
Not accidentally poison everyone he loves and cares about.
No longer having any kind of emotional support system, Pen spiralled the drain pretty quickly. His perfume shop wasn’t doing well in New York, perhaps due to its owner being a miserable, cockney git, breaking into long, recreational sobbing sessions now and then. Maybe the location was bad. Maybe because it’s smelly water in the Great Depression era and folk would rather buy food?
Pen was in trouble, but he found a gap in the market, as apparently this area’s most notable bootlegger died recently. Well, that’d be poetic wouldn’t it? He took to bootlegging easily, as a perfumer buying industrial alcohol while also having a lot of fruit and flowers wasn’t unusual. He opened up Penhaligon’s as a speakeasy, allowing his patrons to drink out of the many perfume bottles, in order to keep up the façade, and as a fun quirk.
