solar is, first and foremost, my favorite character. i apologize everyone, but she is great. 

let me lay down my reasons

she is literally the mom friend. she cares for EVERYONE and she is so protective of loch. also she unofficially adopts kids like, all the time. 

not to mention that when she’s a civilian she’s a highschool teacher?? the guts to be able to do that, children are menaces.

So I'm watching WALL-E and I realized that I've never questioned how his solar charge lasted so long when he was on the Axiom.

Like when WALL-E is on earth -- at the beginning of the movie-- he basically loses all his charge while he sleeps then he needs to wake up and charge to full again for the day using his solar panels.

So how does he survive for days on the Axiom without charging?

WELL

It's because he charged using the ACTUAL. EFFING. SUN!

When he was hanging onto the ship that got EVE from earth, they passed the sun and he used it to get like the ULTIMATE charge.

I'M SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS DETAIL THAT I JUST NOTICED!!

Pixar is amazing, you know, I just love to notice the little details like that!

Thank you Pixar for putting that in the movie for us, it's a question I never really thought needed to be asked -- I guess because it was already answered-- but it's such a little detail that makes me appreciate how their thought process works. Great job!! Great detail work!!
