While taking the #scenicroute through the #Phoenix, #AZ metro area this past May, after visiting there for the #Si2 #SolarImpulse2 #flight, I was #amazed at how many #solararrays have popped-up throughout the area! And what was amazing was that they were not vast arrays on what would otherwise be vacant land -- they were #parkinglot #solar arrays providing shade to the parked vehicles. You and I know very well that on very #hot days, wherever you live, you look for the #shady spot in the #parking lot, even if the shade is cast by a neglected, withering tree. Well, it makes a lot of sense to use open areas in cities for solar #power, whether that's rooftop solar or parking lots. The #protection extends from heat/solar protection by providing shade to hail, snow, or rain protection, too. Add power outlets for Level 1 chargers, or Level 2 charging stations to the infrastructure investment, and you've future-proofed your parking lot to be ready for the imminent #electricvehicle #EV #revolution that has already begun! What does authenticity mean to you and how do you maintain it?

Well I’ve got a really bland answer to this. I mean it means staying true to what I write. It means writing for the hell of it, writing to express, writing to get your thoughts out there, writing as an art, writing because it’s a passion, writing because you love it, and writing as honestly as you can. It means writing for more than the desire for attention, more than the desire for success, more than anything you can get in the material world. It means writing because you feel it and not because you want to show it. Uhm, well I maintain it by writing constantly, which reminds me why I do what I do on this blog. I write every day and if I don’t then I’ll be thinking about writing every day and it keeps me true to my passion. I also have to learn how to interpret emotions and understand people because when I write, I want to be as raw and accurate as possible when I’m talking about problems and feelings other than mine.
