TYPOLOGY BEGINNER TRIES TO ANALYSIZE AND TYPE SIMP0136 FROM SOLARBALLS
ok so i tried to type SIMP over the course of a few days and this is what i got. reasoning is below

justification:
Eights have been said to have the psychological capabilities to persuade others into joining and following them in whatever it is that they want to do. In SIMP’s case, it is hinted or even said that she had spent years convincing other Rogue Planets into joining her kingdom. Additionally, in the final scene of “Our Planets Go Rogue! Part 3”, she drops an incredibly long speech as improv and to get the Solar System planets into joining her.
Eights often want to have a way to “leave their mark in the world”. In SIMP’s case, this is quite self-explanatory since she’s literally building and expanding a kingdom of trillions of planets throughout the galaxy. Type Eight’s Basic Fear is to be controlled in any way, shape or form. They also want to be seen as “independent”. I guess for SIMP’s case we can see her fear of stars as a bit similar to the Basic Fear of an Eight.
Eights often also have the risk of loosing those who are emotionally close with them. As a result, the Eight often would take the chance to “push away” everyone to avoid the inevitable event of being pushed away themselves. Now, I cannot remember a specific example of SIMP “pushing people away”, unless you count the time in the episode “Our Planets Go Rogue! Part 3” where she stops the Solar System planeys from talking to OTS, whom she sees as some sort of “prized possession” and a secret to keep. But we can see a very vague example of SIMP loosing the emotional trust of WISE in the episode “The Sun VS The Rogue Planets”, when WISE admits that SIMP is “loosing the plot”.

The Basic Fear of 8w7 is to lose control of their life. They incredibly dislike the idea of anything disturbing their control over themselves, so much so that they would prefer to stray away from anyone else’s authority. In SIMP’s case, we can simply say that the “other authority” that she fears would be that of stars. She would 100% choose to do her own thing, under her own authority, than allow a star to actually communicate with her and try to place their authority on her. This is kind of displayed in the episode “The Sun VS The Rogue Planets”. In that episode, every time the Sun tried to reason and communicate with SIMP, she would never acknowledge him and try to attack—which can be seen as her trying to keep the “other authority” away from her.

The Social 8 subtype is commonly described as loyal and protective towards the group that they manage. SO8s are also seen shielding their group from harm or unjust authority. From a glance, we can tell that these things are what SIMP values and tries to display. (keyword: TRIES) Unfortunately, I do see her becoming the unhealthy version of the subtype where SO8 becomes controlling over their people and ends up using them. In the episode “The Sun VS the Rogue Planets” WISE states that SIMP is “loosing the plot”. And in terms of her enneagram, this probably means that she’s becoming unhealthy, which is shown through how she’s described as a dictator by Planet X and how she forced the kingdom members to still fight against the Sun despite WISE telling SIMP not to. (She ends up listening in the end, so I won’t say that she’s completely unhealthy, just that she’s starting to be.)

Her core is 8 and her instinct is Social, so i won’t be explaining those. The 6 fix basically helps the 8 core stop and think things through and strategically plan things. Additionally, it makes the individual “counter-phobic” which basically means that the person takes on threats instead of running away. We can see that SIMP’s whole thing is to take on Stars (the threat or fear) instead of retreating from them. She states this a few times throughout the episodes and can be seen discussing strategies with WISE in some scenes, even if it’s subtle. The 3 fix helps maintain the image of the individual and makes them think ahead of what their actions can cause. For SIMP, she probably thinks that by kidnapping the Earth and proving that Rogues can sustain life, she can show to the galaxy the positive image and reputation of her kingdom and gain validation or something.
