Just a quick test of the Solar Case lighter using some ready to hand tinder’s to see if I could get it to work .
Lighting my roll up first was simple , just keep a steady hand when focusing the beam on the end of the cigarette until it smoulders and starts to smoke . Best for fire-lighting appeared to be the green jute gardening string and the red inner cord tinder from 550 fire-cord . The dried leaf and the plain paper next , the bark proved a lot harder to get smoking .
Please note if you try this out in bright sun please do wear sunglasses as the beam can be very bright especially on white paper which will cause damage to your eyes .
