Book alert!
This was the first Peter Wohlleben book I had read, and I’ve since moved on to read his other two, but this one is still my favorite. I recommend the illustrated edition just because it’s beautiful, but there are more portable versions for actual reading.
One of the things that I think is really valuable about this book is the personification of trees. The book is an interesting mix of poetry and ecology that was insightful and beautiful to read.
