Solstice [Dark Sun] was such a non-villain and I loved him for that. He was genuinely pretty laid back besides being - malicious…and all. He had Ruin’s back in the limited time we saw them together and I CHERISH that in my heart.
Monty will ALWAYS be this old man’s soulmate, but reportedly, Solar was the closest Ruin ever got to finding that feeling of love he had been missing for years. Though, it was extinguished when he had to obliterate him. Ruin doesn’t regret what caused Solar’s casualty, but he regrets not having more time to find a loophole. Especially now in the future that he knows one existed.
Dude imagine losing your partners in the SAME EXACT WAY. Being SO close to something great and it being TORN away last second, KNOWING there was a chance. Makes me EMO. I’d crash out too.
If Ruin met Solar again, he’d want to start fresh - romantics aside. He’d just be happy to be his friend again.
