Please excuse my Dragon Age Veilguard rant but I have a wee opinion on the end. Hidden below the cut because there be spoilers:

Mainly because I wanted to see what the world would be like, but also cause it would be a choice some Rook’s would make by the time they get there? Just because they start the journey against Solas doesn’t mean they stay against him?
I know why it’s not a choice. Because how do you take that into the next game? It would completely change the landscape of the franchise. I would just have really enjoyed seeing even a merged ending! Spirits and the Fade and raw magic! Arlathan on steroids kinda designs? A good kind of world if it’s done right. Or demons and blight if done wrong? Just something!!!
Maybe I’ll get my hope of my fade weird stuff in the future but I won’t hold my breath 😂
Me, a lawyer with cPTSD who lives in the current world: wow wonder why I'm so obsessed with this character whose purpose was to learn and give well-reasoned advice, who was then abused and manipulated by a mother figure with bad boundaries into being something else, only to retain his true self enough to stand up against and ultimately lead a rebellion against an authoritarian regime despite being gaslit about how actually he just needs to chill and go about the the right way.
Anyway, Solas did nothing wrong lol.
