Solca Vis, from The Last Tide, a spinoff comic of The Wandering Inn
Solca Vis, the first Filipino character in the universe of The Wandering Inn, the (free) web novel which I realize I just won't shut up about. At the moment, I think it might be the longest work of English fiction to ever be written by a single author, and very little of it is even filler!
It helps that the main character is an outspoken advocate for peace without her being hopelessly naive, and that the novel's politics in general are extremely on point. But aside from that, it has great characters and worldbuilding, plenty of fascinating ideas, and combines high fantasy adventures with slice of life antics, covering a huge spectrum of tones, including: heartwarming, horrifying, tragic, and hilarious.
