In their letters, her brothers and father alike often asked her what Dorne was like. And although Alys usually had a gift for words, she was hard-pressed to describe it as anything other than HOT AND DRY. Even the silks and cottons she had been kindly provided brought little relief and during the first few weeks when she was less adept at identifying mild sand storms, she ended up getting sand in places that NO ONE should ever have sand in. With an aggressive air, she wiped away the sweat that had started to gather on her brow. Speaking of the ruling family of Dorne... Alys hurried her steps in order to catch up with the Princess Arianne, who was easily IDENTIFIABLE even from this distance. “Princess Arianne!” She hailed the older woman as she caught up, pausing a moment to catch up her breath. “I have heard that you will be riding to Planky Town soon. I would like to ask PERMISSION to join your party. I have seen very little of Dorne so far. I am a fair rider, I promise that I will not slow you down.”

Don't mind me, I am just here stalking your blog, living for the salt. Also to add my 2 cents; I am glad Dickhead&Douchebag did not touch Arianne Martell... imagine Ellaria freeing her from the tower- time jump- Arianne slitting Dorans throat and whispers "No weak man shall ever rule Dorne again" ... because lbrh, they would have done that. I am traumatized from only thinking about that outcome. Also, we would have seen her having sex all 2 minutes, a threesome with Asha and Ellaria included.

I love how we complained about Arianne’s exclusion until we saw what they did to Dorne. We dodged a missile, the biggest missile in the world. They would never understand a character like Arianne and they would have cast a skinny white girl to play her.
