Hello sorry I'm probably a bit sudden but I think the reason they waited is because Cassandra didn't want the tumor to go away. She was under the impression that the tumor gave her the visualization/processing powers that she uses... so by removing the tumor, she would no longer be useful as a Librarian, which is something she was afraid of.
No this part I totally get
My confusion is about prior to the start of the series, when they first discovered Cassandra’s tumour, if it was operable then how come they didn’t try to remove it immediately?
Like, at the beginning of the series Cassandra can’t control her gift and isn’t using it. It’s only after she becomes a Librarian that she starts using it to her advantage
So why didn’t they try to remove it previously?
