@coluberfoxii:
“You should find a place to stay and someone to trust.” That is the whole truth, but snake is not about to stop there since this is a kid we’re talking about “Do you need anything? Have you eaten? where are you staying?”
“My name is Snake. What’s yours?”
Evan had been trying exceptionally hard to stay brave and strong, despite his situation. But... he has nothing. Sometimes that thought hits him, and it’s hard to keep his chin up. How is he supposed to build a kingdom without a way to find a kingmaker? Without any citizens? When he’s trapped in someone else’s kingdom?
“I’m staying in a, um... an apartment with some people I’ve never met before...” Not a very kingly start, certainly, but this man seemed nice and like he’d be willing to help. “I have some food left, but not very much. I haven’t figured out how to make money here, yet.” The young king looked up at the adult, ears drooping, tail hanging low. “I’m Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum. It’s nice to meet you, Mister Snake.” He hated showing this amount of weakness to a stranger, but he’d been through a lot lately.
