Hey Vegaholics! Judging by the title, you guys know that it's product review time again! In today's review, I'm going to be discussing/reviewing the Solofill K-onverter. Solofill is known for their single serve coffee products & accessories. I've heard good reviews about the Solofill K-onverter and could not wait to see what the talk was all about & could not wait to try it out myself.

My Review
You guys know that I own a Keurig Vue & how much I love it! It does everything I need it to do plus more. Now even though I do love my Vue, I do sometimes wish that the Vue packs had a better variety of drinks to choose from like the K-Cup portion packs do. The Vue packs are getting even more scarce due to Keurig discontinuing the Vue brewers, but with the help of the Solofill K-onverter, I was able to get a better variety of drinks to choose from. Now I know you are probably thinking, "How?" Well, the Solofill K-onverter allows you to use K-Cup portion packs in your Keurig Vue Brewers.
Now, right out of the box the K-onverter was ready to use. I was so excited about that! In the box, you just receive the K-onverter itself. The K-onverter comes in this pumpkin orange color (that's what I like to call it).
To get the K-onverter ready, you must do the follow:
- Use your fingernail to pull tab inward to release adapter from cup. (Visual instructions on how to do so are located on the side of the box).
- Clean the adapter and the adapter holder with warm soapy water.
That's all you need to do to clean it. Easy right?! That's one of the things I love about this adapter, the fact that it is super easy to clean! After you clean the K-onverter, you can immediately start using it!
To get started, you must do the following:
- Step One: Push K-Cup down into K-onverter to puncture the bottom of the K-Cup
- Step Two: Close the lid to the K-onverter to puncture the top of the K-Cup pack.
- Step Three: Push in locking tabs to hold lid closed.
Now, you would brew as you normally would and then you're done.
Overall:
I really like this adapter & I definitely recommend it if you are a Vue owner who wants to use K-Cup packs in their Vue brewer. The K-onverter is super easy to use, super easy to clean, and it's 100% BPA-Free! When I use the Solofill K-onverter to use K-Cups in my Vue brewer, I tend to brew on the 10 oz or 12 oz setting (I choose those settings because K-Cup brewers tend to brew up to 10 or 12 oz.) just so the drink won't taste watered down and I won't have to sacrifice the taste of the drinks just so I can use K-Cups in my brewer. That's just me but you can choose whatever brew setting you want. Like I previously stated, the Solofill K-onverter only comes in the pumpkin orange color and retails for $17.99, which means you are going to be spending about $20 including tax. I honestly think it's worth it since you will be getting a lot more options to choose from. You can purchase the Solofill K-onverter from Bed Bath & Beyond and Amazon.
