This is a Solovair household
hey i just thought of some bullshit do you want me to say it to you
I’ve wanted these shoes for over a decade… I had a bad week and an awful, terrible day so… I have new boots now.
Transgender boots >:3
Solovair x Carhartt WIP
le Fleur* x Solovair Tassel Loafers
"Don't buy Docs they're terrible quality, buy Solovair they're the original manufacturer and make way better quality"
I've had these Solovairs for 8 months, they were $250 +shipping from the UK. They take a LOT of maintenance, they're a nightmare to break in.
8 months in the grommets are bent a d dented to hell, the leather has worn thru completely in high wear and tear areas.
They are designed to be easily repaired at least, but with shoe repair costing $50+ that puts me at $350 for 1 year of wear.
A $60 pair of boots from Walmart last me the same amount of time.
They might be good quality for just wearing around occasionally if you take good care of them, but they are not a good investment if you plan to wear them daily and be very active.
So if you need a really sturdy pair of boots with a punk flair I *still* recommend stealing or thrifting a pair of Harley Davidson boots
