It's time for More SolverPod Stuff

"Honey?" Nori called, peering into the abandoned housing section of Outpost-3 that had never been really used. Her companion moved, walking further into the Pod, following the trail of scratch marks on the floor as N used his flashlight to illuminate the darkened rooms. "V?" N called, looking around, the two Drones had vanished an hour ago after Uzi had found something and wanted to 'Test it.' a Ping that came later from V had confirmed they were fine, just, they had discovered something.

"Soooo... Any idea what she found?" Nori grunted, unsure as to how to answer as they scanned the rooms.

"It could be anything, it could be something Khan and I made or she discovered a function of being a Solver Drone I haven't gotten to remembering yet. I know Doll is still trying to figure things out but is waiting for her Gal-Pal to be ready first." N nodded in understanding, and then paused.

"Found the room." Nori stopped beside him and looked down at the scrabbling scraped marks before looking back at the door.

"Alright, let's do this." She hit the open key with her override, and the door swished open, revealing a rather wrecked sitting room, with more scrapes leading to a back room. The two walked through and slowly approached the back room. "Uzi? Honey? You alright?" There was a grumbling voice from the Bedroom, then V's.

"Come on in, I can't really get up..." As Nori and N entered the room Nori had to suppress a cackle as she saw what had happened.

"Oh!" V raised a brow to that, laying on her back with a segmented armored and rather pill like form sat right atop her, grumbling snores emanating from it as Nori quietly padded over and looked it over. "She found the Solverpod form." The two disassemblers stared at her for a moment, both very confused before Nori gestured to the Purple tinted armored Pod. "Uzi found the commands to kick on a Solver Form, kinda like the Solverpede that J became if I understand that right, but this form was designed by the Scientists at Cabin Fever Labs, they wanted us to have a safe way to activate our transformative powers that weren't totally under, It's control." The two stared at her for a moment longer before looking back to Uzi.

"The Solverpod, as the Docs called it, instead of mimicking the Millipedes that are carnivorous and rather destructive, Mimics Isopods, focusing on a defensive body that is not overtly a weapon. It's also very good for conserving gathered materials." Nori pat the shell, a quiet 'bite meee' grumbling out from it. "It also makes the users who first access it exceptionally tired. But I can tell you that Yeva and I were the biggest of the lot back at Cabin Fever, so this probably isn't as big as she can get. Might actually be the "Travel Sized" subform they designed in so they could just put us in suitcases for easier transport." She exchanged looks with the two rather confused Disassembly Drones and shrugged. "What? It's not like we were under the leadership of sane humans by that point anyways."

N and V looked at each other, shrugged and nodded in agreement as Nori chuckled at V's limited attempts to get out from under her daughter.

Weapons Testing

“[This is a bad idea-]“ a Russian voice whispered near inaudibly, the same words writing themselves out in text on V’s HUD.

“Relax, it’ll be fine, besides, it would be good to know what can pierce the shell. Her regeneration will take care of any wounds in the event of the impossible, so shut up” V muttered, trying her best not to look at the see through red specter she could see on her right.

“I’m ready V, try it!” Uzi snarked, she’d been thrilled with her new forms high strength armor, and had asked V to literally shoot the shell to see if she could break it at all.

V being V, she had eagerly agreed.

the ghost haunting her didn't agree, but the short haired woman, whatever her name was, seemed to respect V’s bodily autonomy, so V wasn’t too worried about her limbs being seized and stopped.

Uzi curled up, presenting her back to V, armor plates aligning just right, leaving absolutely no gaps to exploit, the underside and more vulnerable parts so perfectly tucked away that nothing vulnerable was left to shoot.

“.500 S&W Magnum!” V called, exchanging her hand as she spoke, before firing.

no mark, the bullet hit the shell and just bounced off, fuck, the bullet shattered, Uzi cheered, even if it was a already guaranteed victory since even a powerful pistol still wasn’t that strong.

“Uzi!” V shouted, and Uzi yelped out a “wait what”, before yelping again as V fired, the gun doing nothing to injure the shell, but satisfying V, who’d been waiting to confuse Uzi like this ever since she read the guns name-

“McMillan TAC-50!” V called, exchanging the Uzi out, before firing again, the bullet didn’t break this time, but if there was a scratch, V couldn’t see it.

“Anzio 20mm!” V called, this time she could see a small scratch, just barely there.

“950 JDJ Fat Mac!” Definitely a scratch that time, and V was aiming at different spots, so the gun was powerful, but still, Uzi’s armor laughed at the bullet basically.

“M2 Browning machine gun!” V fired off several rounds at one spot, she could see scratches forming, but Uzi didn’t flinch, so no pain felt, so the hard and unfeeling tougher outer shell hadn’t been pierced through and the nerve laced, still tough but slightly weaker inner shell hadn’t been damaged at all.

“KPV heavy machine gun!” More scratches, no flinch.

“GAU-8 Avenger cannon!” Real denting now, Uzi flinched a little but that meant nothing really, the outer shell was tougher yes, but the inner shell was thicker and harder to fully pierce through, just more painful to shoot.

“[give it a rest, they had to use tank rounds to even get real damage, your not going to be able to get that level of power]”

V blinked away the red text, her tail swishing back and forth as she stared down Uzi’s curled form.

this ghost talked like she’d been shot at before, and given the way she’d reacted to the Cabin Fever Labs before, well, the heavy duty scars V had seen on photos of the test subjects Solverpod forms said it all.

strange humans, bringing them to life with the infection and giving them the new tamer form, just to make efforts to figure out how to kill them.

“Tank cannon gun!” V called, and yes, she meant it, it was a way smaller gun then humans made it, so she didn’t have issues holding her arm up, but Cyn had figured out how to compact it so the Disassemblers could use it and other such powerful guns.

thud, crack.

a second shot broke the shell even worse, not enough to deal significant damage, but V had a feeling that if you concentrated fire on that one spot, you could break through with enough rounds, at least over ten, but still, a feasible thing-

“OW!-“ Uzi yelped, seemingly processing the pain of her cracked shell, she uncurled after a second, rubbing the back of her neck and head with one hand.

“Shock absorption is TERRIBLE- I think I might have a concussion and whiplash-“ Uzi whined, flipping her torso down onto its back.

“Oh woes you-“ V snarked, calmly walking over as she exchanged her gun back for her hand, before she settled down by Uzi, left tired out and a bit hungry due to the materials and energy consumed by generating and firing such high power weaponry.

still, she couldn’t help but wonder what a pierced Solverpod’s shell looked like, was it purely organic or mechanical? Or a mixture?-

“[Be careful what you wish for]”

V saw the text, but didn’t have time to react before her vision was overtook, her optics being overwritten.

she could see a huge chamber, and many, many purple-magenta coils, gothic patterns inscribed on the shell and fur.

the patterns, while admittedly kinda cool looking, were horribly distorted by the large number of scratches and dents and gouges marring the tough shell.

“FIRE!”

a round thudded into an already damaged plate, drawing a sickly mixture of oil and blood from the new hole.

V felt sick, she could see flesh intwined with circuits and wires through the fist sized hole, oil and blood oozing out at the same time and mixing as they fell.

the injured Solverpod wailed, not in anger or fear, but in pain and frustration, cornered as shot after shot landed.

V blinked away the image, panting heavily, and turned her head to look at her friendly neighborhood system hitchhiker.

“[……it was not pretty]” the ghost said simply.

V looked away, silently agreeing.

she’d seen a lot, but cornering a weakened person and shooting at them relentlessly just to break their hide only to dump them back in their cell once the ordeal was over and they were bleeding.

that was just a whole new level of human cruelty.

Peaceful Poddin' AU

here is the first post about it

let's peer back into the world again, afterall, just one peak is never enough;

it was a snowy day on the planet of coppper-9 (light snow of course, this place would never come to know the horrors of nuclear winter)

Tessa was just groggily getting up for work, her first alarm managing to wake her up today, she had no doubt it would be just as eventful as the others she had been, she slowly stirred though she did not want to get up at all, it was a job even if she enjoyed it, which meant designated times to get up and designated hours she needed for rest. Journey, who acted as her alarm, let her cuddle her for a couple minutes longer, she set it up as such so that Tessa would still have ample time to get to work if she decided to do something like this, and she often did, she held on to her jaybird tightly, not wanting to let go just yet, this was still fresh and new to both of them, but it was a wonderful new, an enjoyable new. Eventually though, Tessa did start to fully get up, yawning and planting a kiss onto her dear Journey's lips, she giggled as the small smile and light blush crept onto Journey's face and visor respectively, a note that the alarm did fully wake up both of their systems up which made Tessa herself giggle at the factor, she was still enjoying and being giddy about all this freedom she had gained so suddenly and swiftly, practically a miracle.

Tessa: Morning dearie

the way she said it to Journey felt right, felt appropriate, and felt still exciting to her heart, at her parents household she would have said it in a hushed whisper, here it was just something to be said.

Journey: Morning My Sweet, sleep well?

Tessa: mhm, you help with that with how you hold me so protectively she ended her sentence with a chuckle

Journey herself was still warming up and waking up herself, she never used to be like this, not in the manor when she was simply called her designation, J, nothing more, not in the place she had been originally revived in. She used to force herself to instantly forcefully boot herself to full capacity to ensure that she was fully alert to protect Tessa and ensure that her parents were always as best as she could get to pleased to ensure reprimanding was never needed, she was not expecting to be saved by Cyn alongside the others, not when she was one of the ones that had clocked Cyn as being weird, but that was then, and this was now. And now she could earnestly let her systems slowly build up, it was a weird sensation but it was good to let the body slowly work it's way up to fully operational, it also was working as a reminder in a weird roundabout way that her and her group were safe now, they were able to live in a sort of peace of their own, which meant she could actually rest and actually let her body have a moment of relaxation, her body nearly couldn't believe it the first time but it was proven by her work and attitude after the full wake up that she was better with a full wake-up cycle completed.

The duo got up and got into the shower, helping each other out, mainly because the showers here was another part of their rituals, it reminded them that they were allowed to just hug and kiss and hold hands and other mushy stuff that they wanted, the shower also helped wake up Tessa in the morning so that was just a bonus. They got into their work attire, Tessa into a scientist outfit that she had made modifications to, mainly for ensuring that she could deal with solver drones that weren't someone that was used to her presences feel more comfortable but also allow her outfit to be scratched like a cat tree with minimal wear and tear, which meant sometimes, small solver babies would just be climbing on her claws embedded into her outfit. Journey had once gotten a screenshot onto her system of Tessa doing something facing her and then a second screen shot of her turned around of two babies holding onto her back, their names were Doll and Uzi, the lil small drone cubs were of Yeva and Svetlana and Nori and Khan respectively, it was turned into a meme around the office in moments flat, sometimes with both images, sometimes with only one of them, Tessa couldn't help but join in and experience meme culture for the first time as well, and she liked the way everything would be conveyed in the images and such.

Their household was of course in the area of camp 98.7, the testing ground and "campsite-turned-neighborhood", and their household was the biggest, not due to money, while they did have it(Cyn was cylly, but she knew to take a good chunk of money from the elliotts that was a lot to the average person but barely a dent to them before they left), it wasn't the reason they built it like that, it was a connected dual-household. Journey and Tessa were in their own house and Nathanial and Valeria were in theirs, standard two stories styled after log cabins, inbetween them was a glass space that had a chimney/campfire combo at the center, a communal area for the Ex-Manor Crew to enjoy time together after a day of work or cook food together during off days over the fires, each household had a interconnecting door into it. Tessa moved a lil faster now that she was fully showered and cleaned up, making her and her Jaybird some breakfast, some battery and scented oil cereal for Journey and some regular cereal for herself, humming as she set up her and journey's bowls of food to get ready for the day, she smiled, her breakfast being more "normal" now still kinda off but it was a beautiful thing to be honest, she was used to things that either tasted like they had spent bloody too long on the barbie and the flavor cooked off of them, or they were too small to even be considered actual food, like a joke only the grown ups she knew were in on for their lives for some reason. Journey eventually joined her, her lovely suit and jeans making her look like a nerd, even wearing some square glasses to ensure her vision was up to 100% efficiency, and Tessa finding them cute as just a lovely bonus to herself in all honesty, and Valeria still had her own pair from the manor, rounded out and circular, it was a interesting note of choice between the two of them, oh there goes her mind again, rambling even about something in her own head.

Tessa and Journey ate the breakfast

Tessa: how's the office going?

Journey: it's...going, had to construct an entirely new one due to...ya know

Tessa: ah...yeah, Cyn.

she chuckled to herself, Cyn had found her mate...Cyn thankfully recalled the entire tale, apparently as a form of entertainment and a job, some drones could become football drones, Thad had stolen her core seemingly. Thankfully he was surprisingly chill about learning about solver drones and finding out she planned to be with him as her partner, poor guy was more worried about journey when she showed up, he did manage to get a new job as a tester of tech in the labs nearby, Cyn was always chipper when he showed up, and if she ever felt worried, he seemed to have a good skill of answering text's while still keeping focused on his work, football teaching him to multi-task seemingly being his main explanation for it.

Tessa slowly stirred up from her seat and put the bowl into the sink Journey doing much the same, cleaning it and putting it in the dish washer that was finally getting full, guess they'd have to have it run while they were gone.

Journey: hey Tessa?

Tessa: hm?

Journey: Cheek kiss have a good day at work

Tessa: Giggles and cheek kisses journey right back 'atcha jaybird

they left for work, parting ways where they usually did on the snowy planet

Tessa hummed a tune, it was random but she swore it felt...familiar

she entered the labs and noticed that it was still very early, not many scientists and engineer's were showing up yet, and in her side of the facility it was especially quiet, partly due to the fact Yeva and Nori were on vacation, they came as early as Tessa typically did, always happy to help drone's who presented with the solver and help with alice, they still had a long while before they would come back.

though she did eventually hear a familiar pair of voices, peaking the corner, she quietly giggled at the sight

mitchell: are you sure you are doing alright, alice?

Alice: are ya sure ya didn't steal some of my protectiveness of my lil critters? you seem to care for them just as much as I do, hon.

Mitchell was holding Beau and Tifu, gently cradling them with a level of care only Alice or Tessa had been able to do in the past, while Alice was in solver pod mode, though she was unfurled currently.

Mitchell: I just...care a lot about you, and they are a part of you in a sense

Alice: a crazed laugh of hers came out, quieter then usual cus the little ones were sleeping sappy but true, ya got da right idea though

mitchell: softly sighed as he heard that thanks Alice

Tessa was going to have juicy gossip with journey later, for now she moved back and knocked on the door before entering, quietly enough that it wouldn't wake the lil UNN's

Tessa: Ello mate's! how ya doing this morning?

Mitchell and Alice looked at each other

Mitchell: I think we're doing alright

Alice: bout as 'right as I can be currently

Tessa: well that's good to hear, gonna be mostly a check up kinda day!

Alice groaned a lil but knew it was for the best

Alice: at least it's with y'all

Mitchell chuckled at her reaction but was smiling under his attire

Tessa: don't worry, I'll make sure its as quick as possible mate!

Something Fluffy

[Because GodDamn I need some Cozy after @sicksucculentz and @darkxwolfdoesart posts]

Lizzy could admit now after so long that embracing the Solver abilities she had was, relaxing. Did it change how weird some of it was? Hell No.

One change had cropped up after the planet began recovering after some Solver Hocus-Pocus was done by Nori and Uzi, Lizzy hadn't been there for it but she knew one thing, Copper-9 had a core again, and they were slowly warming back up.

This had caused, not issues, but new behaviors in everyone afflicted with The Solver, and for those with The Solverpod patches, or even the patches Uzi had scraped together after months of comparing codes in the DDs to Solver Drones and then to Normal Drones and Cyn, it was odd.

Case in point, Lizzy was not currently staying at home, much to what she assumed was her Father's slight concern, which for him was borderline losing it when you took into account his issues and errors with his emotions matrix. But where was she? Why forty feet underground in a small park just inside Steel Cities outer limits. She had, apparently, gone into a fugue state, vanished from the colony, and been spotted by N piling dirt outside of an abandoned bunker, one that hadn't been cracked open so much as it hadn't been accessed by Drones for one reason or another. And Lizzy had dug deeper under the Bunker, establishing a rather decent burrow near what she realized was an old hot water pipe, one that was geothermally powered and with the core back to spitting shape. Well it was decently cool deep in her burrow and cooler towards where she had first breached the ground inside the Bunker.

Suffice to say she was very lost and very glad Doll had come tearing after her. But when she tried to leave that same fugue state came back, and so she stuck around her burrow, not sure why this was happening, and allowing both Uzi and Doll to go through her Code as they tried to diagnose what was happening. Until Nori got a view of what was going on.

Suffice to say Lizzy was not psyched about having "Growing Pains" in her future, Solverpods can't molt, not easily, but most of the time they just generate new armor over the old and reabsorb them, this? What was happening to Lizzy? This was going to expand her height by at least a few inches, because apparently she had hit some requirement, and unlike Uzi and Doll, who had had the AS barking in their ear to kill, she had the far more kindly but still disturbing Doctor Ridley humming in her audio logs, it was almost soothing, the voice of a dead woman telling her it would all be okay, if not for the distortion and voices that were definitely not Dr.Ridley, Chambers, or anyone else from Cabin Fever Labs, all encouraging her.

Her hypothesis? The original makers of the Solverpods, trying to be helpful but given the deranged madness of the Absolute Solver it had corrupted into a multi-voiced soup of the dead trying to encourage her with echoes in her head.

Not a fun time.

What did Lizzy consider a fun time? Cuddling with Doll, deep in her Burrow and sleeping the days away as her body and solver ground away at her code and updated the schematics in her CPU, it felt like what Tessa had described as "Sore" or "Tingling", and not in the fun way, but at least Lizzy could use it as an excuse to nap on top of Doll and V all day and trap the two in her Burrow, much to other people's frustration.

They could shove it, she got what she wanted. A Couple of hot Drones in her Bed and no one able to argue with her!

Wait, crap, is this the Solver talking or her? She wanted to hang out and date both of the Extremely Lethal girls, but she also knew that V had a thing for N and Uzi, ah to hell with it, she's not a Human and she doesn't need to fold to all of their societal norms!

Besides, she and the Gremlin were getting along more anyways with Lizzy's continued obsessions and making notes on Solver Drone and DD behaviors, so she just had to convince her and N to go along with it, if V was up to it that is.

1: How does the Average Drone react to Solver Drones? Especially when they are in one of The Eldritch Forms? Do they react as though they are DDs? Do they react worse? Are they Confused?

2:What does your average DD/Solver Drone Dorm/Residence Look Like? Remember, these guys CANNOT Go into Sunlight constantly because [SOLVER OF THE ABSOLUTE FABRIC IS A DICK]

3:Do other Colonies Frequently make runs at Outpost-3? If not then what are their relationships with OP-3?

And Finally, some Solverpod Questions.

How long can Solverpods remain in their forms?

Can Solverpods Change to other Solver Forms? Or do they have to Transform back first?

Do Solverpod Formed Drones act differently to their usual selves? Does their behavior change?

Are there different sub-types of Solverpods? [Ex: One Solverpod looks more like a Centipede/Millipede/Solverpede, Another looks more like a More Short Bodied Pill Bug].

And Finally, What is the Name of the JCJensen World that The Solverpods were invented on?

A Test of Drone-manity

Tessa had plans for today

it was the fated day of the trial run of her Human to Drone Transfer, it was gonna be her first test, she had been running more safety nets then even recommended by other engineer's, she understood life was precious, drone or human, and she was not about to ruin a life just for a advancement if it wouldn't be safe to do in the first place. Not to mention the person who signed up was Clancy, she had met him on the interwebs, finding him through his videos on drones and watching how he took care of them, not to mention his big family of drones that he was caring for, Ford and cricket being just one example of the big family upon families of drones that he had gathered over the years. They had eventually started communicating in the comment section of one of his videos, which then led to talking in dm's about drones with one another, drone habits, this and that, overrall grand conversations between the two of them, they attempted to talk about their own parental experiences but well...somethings are best left short in a conversation, they eventually got back to the drone topic. Which led to Tessa talking about her own little projects and what she did, including the project of "Total human Elaborate Synchronization brain transfer Automaton" Or "TESA" for short, a wonder of tech and solver powers that would allow for a viable transfer from a human body into a drone one with simple amounts of issue, though she was making she it was as close to zero as she could get a project such as this. Clancy asked about the why of doing such and well...let's just say the length of the essay she ended up writing about her dearest jaybird and UNN's would only be beaten out in length by the entire collage of pictures and videos and edits she would use for the wedding day of them together forevermore to put it lightly, but it did cause clancy to think about it and ask if she had any volunteers yet for said project and of course she had to sadly admit no. Clancy took a bit to respond but he eventually asked if He and his family of drones could have a transport for such a thing, Tessa herself was only slightly surprised by the factor that clancy was up for such a thing, she did have enough money though to bring him on over and give him and his drones a slightly bigger house, she designed it based off his house on earth from what she had seen so the place could somewhat could feel familiar to the family of his that he would be bringing along, a fridge filled with loads of drone foods, and some human foods for him to eat before doing and becoming the first test canidate, but also a lot of repair tools and repair supplies for future points.

Here she was though, down in the labs of her own project area while Mitchell handled alice and her babies for the moment while she was in her own "little" office (it wasn't little at all in actuality, it was it's own lab in it's own right and management thought it would be humiliating...it was the exact opposite, management made it's assumptions due to her being a Elliott but were very happy to be proven very quickly wrong). She walked and entered her lab, her patient and his family that he had found and made over the years, sitting and awaiting for her to enter and get all readied up, she analyzed the various faces in the crowd of drones that she was watching, there was fear in some, concern in others, and a small select few were very confused by the idea of it all. But before Tessa could open her mouth, cyn crawled through the tunnel she had dug that led into her spot onto the machine and instantly picked up her mandated snacks and oil drink that had been gifted to her for deciding to help out tessa herself for this project, which caught the attention of all the other drones.

Cyn: headtilt. hello. friends. giggle.

Tessa: Hi Cyn

Cyn: Hi. Tessa. Giggle.

Tessa: how is thad?

Cyn: he is. good. very kissable. happy nod.

Tessa: yeah good

she collected her papers and her clipboard with a smile

Tessa: now how are you feeling, clancy?

Clancy: Still Can't believe that this day is here already

Tessa: that's the fun part of all of these kinds of things, the future comes at ya fast, much faster than ya can expect and it will always be something to behold as science moves forward and stuff.

Tessa looked over the family of drones that had formed a accidental shield around him as she got close, lightly tapping them so she could get a closer look at him and his vitals

Tessa: Alright, so far everything is looking top notch and the drone body is ready for transfer, I see you customized it to your liking?

Clancy: simply chuckled mhm

Tessa: good on ya, glad to see you get all ready and such, now for the next part will be the procedure itself of course.

Ford:....and if anything were to go wrong? *his Samoan accent coming through*

Tessa: then the safety features I put in will activate and will stop the process outright.

frank nodded though he was the only one responding currently, all the of the drones were talking among themselves though, trying to comfort one another.

Tessa herself took a deep breath as she realized that it really was the day again, that today she would be doing her first test on the first human who had willingly agreed to such a procedure, knowing full well the potential risks, not just if it didn't work despite the amount of safeties, but the change from human to drone could be very jarring in of itself, having to get to how everything feels as a drone is completely different then how a human does it. She walked over to the machinery and double then triple checked everything was perfectly aligned, that not a single wire was crossed wrong or squished or messed with or anything, she checked the equipment that would be hooking up to the drone body of clancy and clancy himself, double and triple checking that for any sign that a bug or something that hadn't been eaten by a solver user or something else to make it sure that every little detail she had made herself was in tip-top shape for this project of hers. Then she checked on her energy Reserves themselves for all of this, ensuring herself that she had let them charge over the many days lovingly and carefully that they would be able to withstand need for higher voltages or need to supply cyn with a quick energy snack as a back up thing if need be really, making her go over the details of each thing, each individual strand of output and input that had been done to ensure there was no hiccup at all. Then she finally got to checking on the section of stuff that cyn would be using to harness the solver energy into, the handles, the connection ports, the cushioning of the seat-

Cyn: tessa. concerned look. you are. doubting your. own abilties. again. sad tone.

Tessa: deep breath yeah sorry cyn, sorry clancy and co, I just wanna make sure this goes all good 'n' stuff an' such

Cyn: is. okie. pat pat. she said it as she patted tessa's head

Tessa: thanks cyn

Clancy: yeah take your time, it'll be all good and knowing your care of drones, I think you'll do just fine.

Tessa: she nods y-yeah

She takes in another deep breath to calm down her nerves that were getting to her in this moment right now, she was just anxious cus she bloody was about to potentially discover the perfect way to allow others to change themselves in a way that no had been able to do so before, like 'ell she was about to stop now that she was so close now. And thus she finally began turning everything on, slowly telling the drone family to move off to the side as she powered everything on for the experiment to begin despite the fear that rattled her system earlier, she was gonna goddamn do this, she was not about to be a bloody coward, not now after she had finally escaped the clutches of a horrid family and managed to carve out her own life, not ever again. With that in mind, she swiftly got to work more, setting up the connection to the head of clancy to his drone body, making some last moment check-in's with cyn to ensure she was ready to power all of this to perform the procedure on clancy, checking in with clancy to make sure the headset he was wearing was fastened on to his head just right that it would be comfortable yet hold on to him well. Tessa moved herself gradually over to the next part of her operation, to the controller itself that made sure that the power levels were steady and were able to handle the incoming potency of it all that would be also being a test of the strength of her tech itself, testing just how well she built the machine well enough to handle what it set out to do in the first place, she slowly began to power it on, slowly and surely on. Thus it began the Machines whirred to life, cyn began applying her power to it, as tessa had advised, it was a gradual increase of how much she was applying to the very instrument of the tool of the transfer, the solver energies gradually mixing in did make a satisfying and interesting sort of humming sound as time went on, which did have Tessa checking the energy levels a little closely even if it was still not applying any warnings that she had set up on the systems she set up to protect both bodies that were apart of this procedure.

it took about 3 hours.

A hiss was heard when it finally finished up, the eyes of the human body were closed and when tessa lifted them, there was no longer a pupil...though the pupil coloration was on the drone body that was waking up.

Clancy: So uh how....did...it...

Clancy took a look at his hand, and his drone family swarmed him, he chuckled as they did their usual antics

Clancy: guys guys guys!

Cricket: letting out some happy cricket-like chirps o e manuia!

Clancy: y-yeah I am okay

Tessa: yeaaaah that's gonna take some getting used to cuz of the autocorrect embedded into the systems of some drone models I've found, how's it all feel?

Clancy: to tell you the truth, surreal, like I can feel things and see things but....it's hard to describe exactly the differences from human stuff but it is wild to experience oh my goodness...hah I...I...

Clancy cries a little, he is no longer looking like his mother, a comment he would often get, he gets brought into a group huddle cuddle by his drones

Clancy: I...I'm with you all, I can feel the huddle better, thank you, thank you tessa, thank you all guys for being here with me.

Tessa: smiles at the successful test glad to be of service to ya

tessa turns to cyn

Tessa: and thank ya cyn for helping out and making this possible bud!

Cyn: always. happy. to help. Teehee.

she slinks away off to give thad a cuddle probably, at least that is what tessa assumes at this hour

Tessa: now let me just run some diagnostics and check up stuff

Ford: hah, o lou taimi nei

clancy: rolls his eyes but chuckles yeah yeah, it is my turn now

Tessa: Chuckles I'll get that same talk from my drones as well probably heh
