I almost committed Keto-genocide yesterday! Is that even a word?? It is now! I ran out of water while at the grocery store, I'm finding I am much thirstier while on the ketogenic diet. While in the checkout I grabbed a cherry coke, my fave, and wasn't even thinking about the nutrition label. I got to the truck, packed in all the groceries that i just carefully selected based on the label and then took a nice big guzzle of my cherry coke.. WAIT.. SHIT!! I looked at the label and freaked! One delicious bottle of my favorite cherry drank is 70g of carbs!!!!! Holy crap! My daily limit while on Keto is 18g. This is nuts. And heartbreaking.. and eye opening! I continued to take small sips while on my 30 min drive home and promptly gave the remaining to a teenager to get it away from me.
